Set up in memory of Georgia Louise Murray an amazing young woman who cared deeply for others, who we sadly lost in November 2010 to complications in her 3rd open heart operation. Focussing on Water, Healthcare, Education and Nutrition projects for underprivileged children both at home and around the world working with like minded organisations in Manchester, Salford, Cambodia and Romania.

The main purpose of the organisation are to: -1) advance the education of women and girls for the public benefit2) promote sustainable development for the public benefit3) advance health for the public benefit4) advance citizenship for the public benefit by the promotion of civic responsibility and volunteering.

We receive guests into our house for times of quiet and refreshment. We lead bible studies for small groups and lead quiet days. Small groups use the house to be together for planning, prayer and a time to be together away. We lead weekends with various themes such as a walking weekend, quiet weekend and at the major Christian Festivals such as Easter.

Our charity is running two community buildings, the Community Library and the Old Girls' School Community Centre for the benefit of the residents of Sherburn and surrounding villages, providing educational, cultural, recreational and health facilities. In addition we offer community development services to foster strong community links across all local voluntary organisations.

The objectives of the CIO are to promote and support the advancement of Education of young people in the areas of Baschurch and Weston Lullingfields and the support of the two primary schools and of Local Cubs, Brownies, Girl Guides, Scout Groups and Church Youth Groups and the provision maintenance and support of such groups, educational establishments, activities and equipment.

Global Aid Trust is an education based charity which has been sponsoring orphans covering their cost of living and education. It has been helping the poor and responding the emergency. It has women empowerment programme, Cataract Operations project, Cyclone Centre and Educational Complex in Bangladesh.

WAST is a self help women's asylum seeker led organization building the members capacity for survival in the asylum system, developing members, confidence, basic English cultural understanding, new skills and providing opportunities to take part in activities which help overcome the trauma of their experiences and which also serve to raise awareness and understanding in their local communities.

Cycle Sisters aims to inspire and enable Muslim women to cycle. Our groups provide support, role models and regular opportunities for Muslim women to cycle. We currently operate in London; our longer-term goal is to grow into a nation- wide network of Muslim women cyclists. Our partnership work with local and national cycling organisations tackles stereotypes to make cycling more inclusive.

The Association was established in 1995 to assist refugees with their integration into UK society. As a centre point for the community, the Association provides a wide range of support and advice. To inspire and develop individuals of all ages to enjoy and play football to the best of their abilities. Rhino Ark UK raises funds for mountain ecosystems and water tables in Kenya and East Africa by building and maintaining electric fences around them. It is a sister charity of Rhino Ark Kenya (www.rhinoark.org).

The principal activity is to further the purposes of the Womens Institute movement in Lancashire & elsewhere.

Teaching juniors and adults to row with the aim of increasing their fitness and taking part in competition. The club is nationally competitive in junior, senior and veteran classifications both male and female. The club also provides for non-competitive members.The charity achieves these aims by the provision of all the necessary equipment such as boats, a gymnasium and volunteer coaches.

The object of the Bansang Hospital Appeal is to provide support to Bansang Hospital and the people of the surrounding area in The Gambia by supplying medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and other humanitarian aid. In particular the Appeal has built an 80 bed Children's Ward, a 48 bed Female Ward, upgraded staff accommodation blocks and built operating theatre suites for obstetrics and general use.
