Women Today as an organisation is designed to support Black African Women in the North East. We meet the needs of African women in the areas of social and emotional well-being. We aim to provide activities and awareness of good health, equality of opportunity and social inclusion initiatives, which promote social inclusion whilst recognising cultural diversity and sensitivity.

Rochford Hundred RFC is a community rugby club based in Rochford Essex. We run teams from the age o2 through to 19 for our younger members, a womens team and 4 senior mens teams

Our charity provides basic monthly income for widows in the Bardai region of Gujrat, India. Although the money distributed is a poor substitute for the loss of a spouse, it provides a small comfort of a regular income in both young and old age.

ICP Support helps women and families affected by the liver condition of pregnancy called intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) also known as obstetric cholestasis (OC) by: providing information and support; advancing education; promoting and raising funds for research into the condition.

We provide a Non Denominational Sunday School Service

The committee members attended family matters, visiting the sick and elderly and bereaved families. Ladies group meet once a month. Functions held for members at large. Provide religious education to children and families on a weekly and monthly basis. Distribution of free news letters and calendars to members.

BRIDGE PRIORY TRUST SEEKS TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES WITHIN THEIR OWN AREA SO THAT THEY CAN LIVE INDEPENDENTLY FROM PARENTS/GUARDIANS ETC. TOWARDS THIS END THE TRUSTEES PURCHASED A BUNGALOW FOR TWO LADIES A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO. WE HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A SECOND BUNGALOW TO PROVIDE A HOME FOR ANOTHER TWO YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE SEVERELLY DISABLED.

We exist to train and support women who have survived human trafficking. We do this through the provision of holistic training programs that incorporate vocational floristry training, supplementary skills training, mentorship and work experience. We also support other charities in the UK that work with and support women affected by human trafficking.

The Charity of Ann Edwards was est by a bequest of Ann Edwards, for the building of almshouses to house clergy widows & female dependants of clergymen who had served in the Diocese of Gloucester. The almshouses were sold, & a new development of 8 housing units at Abbeydale was completed in 1994. The Guide Association as part of a world wide movement enables girls and young women to fulfil their full potential to take an active role in todays society through its distintive stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities indoors and outdoors delivered by trained volunteers.

The object of the Charity shall be the relief of poverty and/or sickness by the provision of housing accommodation for persons who (except in special cases to be approved by the Commissioners) are inhabitants of the Parish of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore or whose spouse, parent, child, brother or sister shall reside in the area of benefit on terms according to their means.
