The Company's objects and principal activities are to advance the education of the public and in particular of Greek Nationals in Great Britain by promoting the study of Greek art, drama, dance, literature, history, customs and traditions.

The Herefordshire Federation of Women's Institutes was formed in 1920 and has its office and headquarters in its own property, WI House, in Hereford. Committee meetings and some classes are held there. The office is run by the Federation Secretary with the Federation Book-Keeper and Federation Administrator who are paid employees of the Federation and by its members.

We accept donations of preloved baby equipment, we then clean & maintain them, then through a referral system we donate to families in need/struggling. We raise funds to support us to be able to provide new toiletries, nappies, formula and maternity items , along side providing new mattresses with all cots, cotbeds, &moses baskets. We work with health professionals, education and social care

The charity's activity is the selling of donated goods in a charity shop, and occasional fundraising, organised by volunteers, in order to donate to neo-natal special care units in local hospitals.

We raise funds in order to provide free quality education in a child friendly learning environment to disadvantaged girls from the Swawou community of Kenema town, eastern Sierra Leone. We provide a nurturing and safe place to learn, where the girls have the support and encouragement they need to stay in education.

To make it possible for a range of activities to take place for people of all ages and abilities who live in Padworth and the surrounding area. Activities in the hall include :- mother and baby/child groups, Women's Institute, physical fitness, and self-help groups. Outdoor activities consist of a children's play area, a football pitch, dog training facilities, and pitches for leisure caravans

We play a unique role in educating women and enabling them to build new skills, to take part in wide ranging activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

To distribute rents received during the year to the pensioners of the parish, currently men aged 65 and over and women aged 60 or over.

The charity supports children and education in and near Livingstone, Zambia, as well as the relief of poverty and distress. The focus is presently on the construction of school facilities for a school for vulnerable children. Other schools are also supported with the provision of books, computers etc. We have also helped two women's empowerment groups as well as homework club and pre school.

Seaton Sluice Community Association own and manage the local Community Centre offering a range of leisure activities and educational courses. Community groups and local people are able to hire the premises and activities range from parent and toddler groups and youth clubs to the Women's Institute. Activities are as varied as Yoga, Craft Club, Woodworking,Choirs and the local history society.

THE CHARITY PROMTES THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY PRINCIPLES OF MORALITY, BENEVOLENCE AND CHARITY. REACHING OUT TO THE NEEDY, THE HOMELESS, THROUGH GRANTS TO ASSIST PERSONS TO ENJOY A BETTER WAY OF LIFE. PROJECTS ARE UNDERTAKEN IN AFRICA TO PROMOTE EDUCATION TO ORPHANS,HIV/ AIDS VICTIM AND WIDOWS. FARMING PROJECTS ARE FUNDED, GENERAL SUPPORT GIVEN IN ORDER TO ALLEVIATE POVERTY LOCALLY AND OVERSEAS.

Such charitable purposes as advance the religion and other charitable work as the Trustees think fit (teaching and nursing) for no financial reward.
