Current activities include; worship services, Leadership Training and Conferences, Women Emporwerment programmes, provision of help for single mothers, churches networking program, provision of education to less privileged kids in poor places in Nigeria.

We are a Domestic Violence charity offering Outreach Service to women who require our support. The services we can provide support in are: Domestic Violence, Abuse, Divorce, Child Support, Immigration, Refuge, Benefits, Training Courses and Education Programmes, Access to Solicitors.

The Church undertakes the following activities: provision of regular public acts of worship; provision of sacred space; teaching of Christianity, pastoral work, taking religious assemblies in school; promotion of Christianity through events; senior citizen's lunch club, women's meetings and uniformed organisations; supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

The almshouses are available to let to infirm persons in need, aged 60 and over and being either:1) persons having a connection by residence or otherwise with South Wales and a connection with the shipping industry whether by reason of having earned their livelihood at sea or at the docks of South Wales or otherwise; or2) be the widows/widowers of those qualified as aforesaid.

FUNDRAISING FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION FOR GIRLS

Provide advice, information and advocacy to elderly Asian women in their own language (Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu). Outreach and befriending services to disabled, vulnerable and isolated women. Support group - once a month - social support group offering workshops on health issues, confidence building, cultural issues, advocacy and targets isolated vulnerable women.English teaching,sewing dresses

Connected Community (Twinease) supports vulnerable mums of unplanned twins across London through emotional, practical, and financial help. We provide meals, volunteers, night nurse support, care packs, formula vouchers, workshops, events and support hotline to ease the pressures of raising multiples. Our aim: improve wellbeing, build confidence, and ensure no mum of twins face the journey alone.

Provides a wide range of activities & other opportunities for girls & young women. These vary from indoor challenges to outdoor pursuits, from social skills to social action. All focus on enabling the membership to have fun, build friendships & gain valuable life skills. The stimulating & enjoyable programmes in which the girls share are delivered by trained & enthusiastic volunteer leaders.

A human rights organisation working for women and children in Nepal.Main activities are rehabilitation of women and children rescued from having been trafficked into India, support and refuge for women who have been physically and/or sexually abused, support for women and children who have contracted HIV.Educational, vocational & health projects. Refuge, half way home & HIV clinic.

We transport sick children and pregnant women from villages in Uganda, to healthcare facilities. This reduces the length and severity of suffering and helps babies to be born as healthy as possible. We do not charge the user for this service, as cost is an inhibitor of uptake to healthcare; we also facilitate health promotion activities and transport healthcare staff into the field.

Educational Programmes: There are three programmes for men, women and children.The programme is usually of educational and social nature. The relief and assistance of people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster,trouble , or catastrophe.Youth programmes: Running different types of activities ,Football games, cookery and cake making classes.

Provision of housing for beneficiaries predominantly poor persons over the aged of 55 with a preference for poor spinsters or widows

Operates a pregnancy telephone helpline; provides support for pregnancy crisis, post-abortion and child loss; provides baby clothes and equipment; runs specialised training courses for pregnancy centre workers, pastoral care workers and counsellors.

Guiding Groups

Tumaini supports HIV/AIDS widows and orphans of the Dioceses of Keera/Lweru North-West Tanzania towards independent living by improving their standard of living and promoting their health and education. It sponsors vulnerable families who receive funding and advice to strive to lead a sustainable life style. Sponsored orphans are given the means to attend educational or vocational training.

Chasing rainbows provide a vital service within the local community of Hull & The East Riding of Yorkshire supporting women and partners going through baby loss, infertility and miscarriage. We offer an environment to talk about loss and to support you. We also have focussed support for women going through recurrent miscarriage and infertility and campaign for better compassionate bereavement care

Provision of pensions for single ladies of limited means and in excess of 60 years of age

The Division is responsible for the management and oversight of the Girlguide units (Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section) within the Maidenhead area and represents the local tier of management reporting to the County Commissioner. Activities range from organising Division events for Girls, to providing oversight and support to individual units and the unit leaders.

The association organised outings and festivals during the year which were very sucessful and enjoyable for the members. The activities include celebration for fund raising for Chinese New Year Celebration, International Women day, Children & Teenages Activities, X'mas Party,Spring Festival Party and other celebration held for National Day Party etc.

Fitness classes for females, Celebrations of religious and social events, consultations and advice, translation and support, lunch club, community trips to i.e. sea-sides.

Children of Adam Appeal is a charity organisation which aims to feed, shelter and assist people all over the world who have been affected by poverty, famine, drought and natural disasters. Our priorities include orphans, widowed women, elderly and people with disabilities.
