Operating a children's day nursery from ages 3 months to pre school

Principal activity of Blackburne House is to provide support structures to its sister organisation Women's Technology Training Ltd. Blackburne House has a range of social business areas which are: Cafe Bar Bistro, The Meeting House Cafe, Conference & Events, Nursery, Health Place Spa and Projects and Business Development.

Rotunda offers an alternative education provision for key stage 4. Adult education. Enabling services volunteer programme. Free Counselling service and peer support. Ofsted registered nursery "Good" and catering facilities.Serviced office space and luxury garden venue for hire

Provision of education and nursery care for children between the ages of 2 an 11 years. Means tested bursaries are available for school age children whose families may otherwise not be able to benefit from the education offered by the school. Provision of Holiday Care Scheme for children aged 2 to 11 years, open to the school's own pupils and those from outside the school.

Independent co-educational pre-preparatory school for children aged 2 3/4 years to 7 years. Our primary objective is the advancement of education. The school welcomes pupils from all backgrounds. Due regard is paid to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance. It is the directors' policy to utilise resources for its objectives and not to retain unnecessary funds.

Core work is in supporting families, providing care in our pre-school nursery for children aged 0 -5 and a Bed sit scheme for young mothers. Wallis bedsits are for young mothers (16-22 yrs) who lack parental support or require additional help through a difficult period in their lives. Beracah bedsits provides accomodation for those with lower support needs.

THE CHARITY RUNS A DAY SCHOOL WITH THREE DEPARTMENTS FOR NURSERY, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION, THE CHARITY IS ALSO MAKES GRANTS FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.

The principle activity and objects of the company during the year under review, in line with its constitution, continued to be the creation of employment via the establishment of small business, together with the provision of nursery and gymnasium facilities to provide services for all, especially the unemployed and deprived of Sheffield.

The Highbury Roundhouse was formed to provide, maintain and develop a range of social, educational and recreational opportunities for people living and working in Highbury and the surrounding areas. In particular we provide a youth club, pensioners' clubs and activities for under five's, after school clubs both on and off site, holiday playschemes and various user/self help groups.

Brunswick offers purposeful work and training to people with learning difficulties. They have the chance to work in horticulture, cooking and crafts, and are supported to produce goods which are sold on site.

Plants and Minds uses horticulture to offer realistic supportive meaningful pressure-free work rehabilitation to adults with severe and enduring mental illness. We aim to restore confidence, self-esteem and dignity while providing security and stability by having no time limit to attendance.We endeavour to reduce stigma and discrimination by increasing public awareness of mental illness

The Elizabeth Foundation provides a range of early intervention and support services for very young deaf children and babies, and their families. These include emotional support and advice for families at the time of diagnosis and the period after diagnosis, nursery group education programmes (Ofsted registered), one-to-one education and support, and a Home Learning Programme.

The Under 5's Project is a Nature lead nursery in an urban area, we support families with children from ages 8 months to 5 years. We are passionate advocates for equality for all, and offer extra support to families and children with special educational, medical needs and disabilities.
