We are a 100% volunteer-run charity committed to offering an annual summer camping holiday for around 160 deserving children from Derby City. Each week, the 1st Needham Market Scout Group give young people of the Needham Market area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

We provide advocacy advice and support in terms of sexual health, well-being, drug and alcohol misuse and parenting. We facilitate activities promoting healthier lifestyle and physical wellbeing.

Our goal is to provide, through the medium of sail training, opportunities for young people and vulnerable adults to discover their sense of adventure, in the process developing transferable skills that will aid their educational, personal, and social development.

WAC is a vibrant youth project blending youth work, canoes and water. Focusing on developing confidence and self esteem, awareness of self, others and our environment communication and collaborative working. Young people 8 to 19 join our youth clubs, whereas groups of all ages book canoeing sessions. WAC aims to work with those most affected by disability, discrimination and disadvantage.
