Provides sport and recreation facilities for all ages/genders/abilities in the community and surrounding areas. Sporting facilities as well as buildings are made available as well as making grants available to organisations. Sports are football, cricket, bowls, squash, tennis, table tennis, Indoor facilities for elderly e.g. chair aerobics and for young people e.g. dance. Large play park.

The club offers youth group activities to seniors (12-18) and juniors (8-11 Years), these activities are educational and recreational. A group of volunteers and paid staff run these groups.WA12Radio station now belongs to Newton Boys and Girls Club. A community radio used by the local community for the community. We broadcast online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Advice by telephone and/or visit, individual creative arts sessions, group creative arts workshops for: children/young people and families who have suffered emotional stress; and training for organisations involved with them.

We provide Scouting for boys & girls aged 6 - 18 focussing on water activities for members and the wider youth group community. To run an annual music festival in Petersfield in March, which consists of concerts by local choral societies and orchestras, celebrity concerts, recitals, and youth concerts for young singers and musicians from local schools. Pimarily the promotion of the Christian faith by provision of a place of worship, the carrying out of religious services, relief of poverty through practical and financial assistance, preparation and broadcast of Christian teaching material along with the provision of children's and youth activities

Presenting the Christian Faith to children and young people in schools in north and central Bedfordshire. This is done by invitation from the schools, through assemblies/lessons - R.E. & PHSE/lunchtime and after school clubs/self-esteem sessions/mentoring and special projects such as: Creative Prayer, Live Nativity, Easter Experience, Godly Play, Prayer Spaces and Life Path.

Provision of youth club for disabled and non-disabled young people, encouraging inclusion through having fun together. Weekly club evenings, lively programme of outings and events and an annual activity holiday.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 1st Bishop's Waltham Scout Group gives young people in the Bishops Waltham area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Grants are made to young people, from all walks of life, aged between 17 and 24 for education in its widest sense including travel, adventure and special training. Priority is given to applicants with connections with the City of London.

The hall is used for community functions, operating as a community hub with use by: Skelton village school, local youth, adult and senior groups, meetings, classes etc, as well as a polling station. Its activities include keep fit, theatre, dances, school, church and social gatherings and suppers and is available for private hire for social events. Open to all ages, abilities and ethnicities.

To provide and maintain facilities at Skelmanthorpe Community Centre for recreation and leisure time activities for inhabitants of Skelmanthorpe and the surrounding area in the interest of social welfare and to improve their conditions of life. The charity assists Scout Groups in the Malverns area to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The Group continues to be managed by the Group Executive Committee consisting of both lay and uniformed personnel. This committee has carried out fund raising, and maintains the links with the local authority, community, school and church. The development of the young people has been through training and learning verious skills and gaining badges.

Leander offers fun and challenging activities for boys and girls from the age of six, in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association. Young people get to try new activities, learn team building and leadership skills and discover their potential. The Group has a riverside headquarters with a large fleet of boats, allowing a full range of boating activities.

CIST is active within Primary and Secondary schools in the Stockport area by providing a service that includes R.E. lessons, assemblies and projects to support the school curriculum in the teaching of Christianity.
