SCC is a voluntary youth organisation which aims to:a. Help young people towards responsible adulthood.b. Encourage valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based upon the traditions and customs of the Royal Navy.The Unit is very fortunate to meet on HMS Belfast. We strive to build and maintain relationships with various bodies within the City.

In broad terms:- to advance the education of young people by helping with their physical education by the provision of facilities- including grant awards- to enable and encourage rowing and sculling; and- to help with the provision of facilities for recreation for those who need such facilities because of their youth, social or economic circumstances;focusing on rowing and sculling.

Providing an active and exciting programme of activities to develop children and young people, giving them skills for life, in the area of Romsley, Hunnington, Clent, Belbroughton, Fairfield, Bromsgrove and surrounding area.

The charity offers support to the activities of the Octagon Unitarian Chapel. It provides premises for the Sunday Club for young people. Other groups are permitted to use the premises for social activities as authorised by the Chapel Committee.

As Scouts,we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. The Guildford East Scout District supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups across Guildford East to encourage the young people to do more,learn more and be more. The aims of the Trust are to support, promote and facilitate access to the arts, music, drama, dance, sports and other skills amongst the young people of Henley-on-Thames and its surrounding area. The Charity maintains Gelliwig, a residential centre in Porthmadog, Gwynedd for use by groups of young people from Colton Hills School, Wolverhampton in particular, but a wider area in general.The property is available for hire by bona fide groups catering for young people.

Oxford Youth Choirs' aim is to provide vocal training to the highest standard for children aged 4 to 18, in pursuit of its charitable objectives. All members attend on Saturday mornings throughout the School term at Cherwell School in Oxford, and members from throughout Oxfordshire are welcome.

Competitions for young people. Music, speech & drama, stage dancing. Held at school venues each weekend in Nov. Cash prizes, cups, medals given to winners in each group. Bursary & some sponsorship mayor of London Borough of Bromley attends.
