The object of the Charity is to provide a meeting place for the development of young people, to help them achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their, national and international communities.

Trains, educates and give young persons (many disadvantaged) responsibilities through experience of team work and comradship by using maritime disciplines such as sailing, field activities, classroom work in navigation and life skills including brass band playing.

Choir of 100 performing concerts (sometimes with profits to other charities)Running workshops and training for singers.All undertaken at minimal cost to participants with reductions for young people to enable as wide a participation as possble.

The society produces an annual musical show for the general public in the mid Cornwall area to enjoy entertainment at a local theatre. For the members of the cast and stage crew it gives education in performing arts and technical matters. The society engages a professional Director and Musical Director. The society welcomes children and young people where the script or score allows.

We are a choir, and we sing. We perform 2 to 3 concerts a year at the Portsmouth Guildhall, and we perform a suitable work at a Church at Easter time. We also regularly perform charity concerts in aid of local charities such as the Fareham branch of the Parkinson's Society. We also give donations to local charities and grants to young people to attend a summer music school.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 33rd Sutton Coldfield (1st Bannersgate) Scout Group give young people of Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The Truan Trust offers support to young people to receive an education in Uganda. Funding is provided to assist youngsters to obtain an education who do not have any family support, such as orphans through AIDS, or where the family can only offer part support e.g. children of peasant farmers. At present most support is given to students studying at secondary or in post-secondary education.

Leek Young Farmers is a affiliated Club to the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, a rural youth organisation open to anyone aged between 10 and 28 years of age. They meet regularly in and around the Leek area and organise their own programme of events which include sports, talks, visits, discos and balls to name a few!

The Charity provides assistance towards the cost of education,or for specialist tools or equipment necessary to pursue a vocation, or to encourage or nurture a specific talent (ie musical instrument), for young people under 25 years old, living in the qualifying areas. Exceptional talent is encouraged and assistance is considered with courses that entail exceptional expenditure.

Makes small grants, in accordance with its area of benefit, to indivdual young people and to projects benefitting young people, to help young people between the ages of 11 and 25 to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities, and to awaken, or strengthen, in them their desire for a full and active Christian life.

The object of the Charity is to help and educate young people through providing the resources necessary to train young people to the standards in water sports as laid down by their National Governing bodies with an overriding emphasis on safety whilst helping them to develop their physical and mental capabilities as individuals and as members of society.

The purpose of The Nottingham Education Trust is advance the education of young people, under the age of 21 and permanently resident in the City of Nottingham to pursue activities outside of their formal education, particularly in Music & the Arts, the Sciences, Languages, Travel & Cultural Experience, Sports & Outdoor & Adventurous pursuits, who would otherwise not have the opportunity.

It makes grants and donations to local community projects including youth, the elderly and those with special needs and deserving individuals and organisations. The object of the ecclesia is to meet for worship, fellowship, Bible study, preaching, teaching and recreation. Sunday School and youth activities are arranged for our own children and are also open to the public. Booklets and materials used for our Bible education events are offered free of charge to the general public.

At Bexley and Lewisham Unit, our exciting adventure activities aim to develop social skills and responsibility in young people and re-connect them with their maritime heritage. We want to help young people build confidence in their own abilities as they learn to work as part of a team. Our qualified instructors guide young cadets so that they can flourish in challenging environments safely. .
