As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the Warboys Scout Group give young people of Warboys the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

To organise and train members to carry out the sport of target rifle shooting in a safe and competant manner, paying particular attention to youth members. We cooperate closely with the local Air Cadets. Several of our members have competed in major Internatioal matches for the Welsh National Teams

Amateur theatre productions for the community of Romiley and surrounding areas which is open to all including young people with the operation of a junior section.

Your feel better station for Warrington & surrounding areas.Radio General broadcasts on Hospedia Radio channel 1 and online. Programmes include requests, items of local interest, Health & Wellbeing items, outside broadcasts and commentaries on Warrington Wolves and Widnes Vikings home games. Radio General Xtra is an alternative music based service for the hospital's waiting areas.

Dorstone Village Hall provides facilities for local organisations to hold events. Certain categories involving education and use by young people are offered preferential rates. The Village Hall committee runs local fund raising events to help maintain and improve the facilities in the Hall.

A uniformed youth organisation for young people aged between 10 and 18. The object is to promote discipline and self respect amongst its members through various nautical activitieswith some training based on the traditions of the Royal Navy.

Making donations in cash or kind, activities for disadvantaged young and old people, educational events for young people of all abilities, educational links with overseas students, helping to sponsor international aid projects where needed. Managing 4 'in-house' trusts.

The trust seeks to promote the education of young people up to the age of 25 by awarding grants to assist them to respond to the challenges which would broaden their experience and personal development. The trustees make grants available, for an approved project, to individuals and also to schools and other charitable organisations within the former ecclesiastical parish of Norton.

The fund helps to develop Christian work for children and youth in Romania in cooperation with churches, training and resourcing Romanian youth and children's leaders. UK teams visit Romania to model modern Christian youth work. We also provide practical, humanitarian and financial support to families, communities and other organisations where this contributes towards our charitable purposes.

The Charity provides both financial and practical support to young musicians who play in Montgomeryshire Youth Music groups including our established orchestra and concert band plus new groups such as woodwind, percussion and guitar. They raise funds to enable members to take part in weekly orchestral rehearsals, attend specialist workshops and attend residential courses.

The Group is a member of the Scout Association and provides for the spititual and physical development of young people from the ages of 6 through to 14.

The Association aims to work with others to address the concerns of its core members as well as young people around self esteem, restoring moral values and self worth, enabling them to grow into well respected citizens. We will also make links with other nationals /groups in the UK, facilitating discussions relating to new developments in the Federation and promoting issues of general interest.

The charitable purpose of the charity is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

Scouting takes place when young people, in partnership with adults, work together based on the values of Scouting and:* enjoy what they are doing and have fun;* take part in activities indoors and outdoors;* learn by doing;* share in spiritual reflection;* take responsibility and make choices;* undertake new and challenging activities; and* make and live by their Promise.

Annual activities include the mounting of a Senior Citizens Party, a free Fireworks Display, a Youth Orchestra Concert, an outing for Special Needs Children, a fund-raising Classic Car Rally, relief for International disasters and other small donations to deserving causes.

Promotion of high quality Chamber Music concerts in the Ribble Valley and surrounding areas to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of expert performance, informative programmes and websites. To foster knowledge and appreciation of such music by young people by arrangement whenever possible by master-classes, open rehearsals and the like.
