Proteus Theatre Company has a history of creating high quality work, producing a programme of touring shows, projects, workshops including participatory opportunities for the wider community. Making work for and with diverse communities, from rural villages to socially excluded young people, creating amazing experiences, advancing education and enriching lives through the performing arts.

Enabling as many people as possible to worship in our 8 churches and to become part of the 'Rainbow Parish' community. Provision of pastoral care, developing and strengthening links with schools and youth organisations, encouraging people to consider all types of lay ministry, participation in local events that build and enrich community life, welcoming a variety of uses for our church buildings.

The charity's main activities include various social, arts and crafts, youth and sports and fitness activities in addition to operating a canteen and hiring out rooms. The charity operates in the Ocean Road area of South Shields, to achieve its objectives to benefit people living in and around the area.

Provide play activities/opportunities for young people aged 6-16 years.

Our core service is a free and confidential emotional support service service available nationally via the telephone, email, web chat and letter. The service uses male and female volunteers trained in basic counselling skills to respond to client enquiries.

JADE Provides a range of services for young people and the wider community that support personal development, education and safeguard young people, helping them to develop the skills needed to grow and achieve. The area of Rother Valley South where JADE operates is a former mining community with a number of indicators of deprivation that affect young people and the wider community.

Paddington Arts is an arts and media centre for young people between the ages of 6 and 26.

Our mission is to connect communities to make a positive and lasting difference to people's lives.Our core funding is directed at charities who support either underprivileged children & young people,or mental health, with a focus on grass roots charities where even small grants can make a hugedifference to people's lives.
