Birtley Community Aquatic Centre (BCAC) Charitable Incorporated Organisation was established to achieve a community asset transfer for Birtley Swimming Centre from Gateshead Council, enabling the delivery of swimming and associated activities to the community which will promote physical fitness and mental health. We plan to reopen the pool in September 2024 if we can raise the required funds
