The main aims of the charity are the promotion of the Catholic religion and hospitality to all visitors to the Abbey, in the spirit of the Rule of St Benedict. To preserve the spiritual identity of the Abbey and its Benedictine community through maintenance projects to preserve the Abbey and its building; and running the Abbey's tea shop, farm shop and art gallery for the benefit of its visitors.

The charitable trust owns and maintains a substantially restored medieval castle. This facility which is open to the public all year round includes a gift shop, heraldry centre and a cafe. Various daytime and evening events take place, particularly during the summer months. Training Centre for adults with learning disabilities; Operating a cafe and gift shop (open to the public); creating bespoke crafts, gifts and home decor. Students also receive training in basic literacy, housekeeping skills (eg cooking, laundry) and go outside the centre to experience public transport, shopping and social activities.

ECCO has 3 reuse shops in Essex and East Herts and collects from West Essex, East Herts and North London.ECCO also collects and recycles domestic batteries.ECCO manages Parndon Wood Nature Reserve.

Emmaus Greenwich provides a home and work for formerly-homeless men and women (our Companions). To help fund our community and to give our companions meaningful work, we collect and sell second-hand furniture, clothes etc and sell them in our shops in London. Our goal is to help homeless people regain their self-respect and help them move on to independent living.

We provide a range of services to older people and influencing activities including: Advice & Information - both office based and outreach, Healthy Lifestyle activities including exercise and IT, Footcare service, Day Care, Befriending & Phonelink service. We also raise funds through our charity shop.

We raise funds, run a hospital shop and radio station (Hospital Radio Barnet) in support of Barnet Hospital, purchasing requested equipment and comforts items for patients and staff.

RSPCA Suffolk Central runs a Re-Homing Centre (also a holding area for injured wildlife until transfer/release) and two Veterinary Clinics, which provides heavily subsidised care for the animals of people on low incomes. We offer low cost microchipping, advice and provide help with neutering / operations, etc. for people on low incomes. We run 5 shops which play a big role in our fundraising.

Advancing the Christian Faith principally in the Yeovil area, and other areas as deemed appropriate. Activities include troubled family support ( "Yeovil4Families"), Youth activities inside and outside schools, supporting "Yeovil Street Pastors" , "The Lords Larder" (aka Yeovil Food Bank). A Coffee Shop is operated on site, and funds are raised to support christian projects in the UK and overseas

The Vineyard Community Centre opened in March 2012 with a vision to meet needs for the homeless and the socially excluded. The Centre provides a morning drop-in, an afternoon community cafe, a foodbank and a charity shop.
