KingsCare League of Friends is a Devon-based Charity, closely attached to Kingsteignton Medical Practice. With enormous help from dedicated volunteers, we deliver Patient Transport, Dementia & Carers Groups, social activities including Lunch Club, walking groups, befriending, operate a Charity Shop and deliver individually tailored wellbeing programmes.

The Church is part of a quarterly preaching plan (produced by the Circuit of which Lichfield Methodist Church is part) which ensures regular acts of worship take place - open free of charge to anyone who wishes to attend. Neighbourcare gives assistance to the community in variety of ways: Transport to doctors and hospitals; Shopping; cleaning; gardening; relieving carers; visiting the housebound; sitting service; Home from Hospital Help; Fetching prescriptions; Pop in Service; Filling forms; meals on wheels referrals; Lunch Club, Community Shop and a Silver Surfer Internet Cafe to teach IT skills to the over 50s.

Runs one charity shop and other fundraising events to support Danesbury Neurological Centre (an NHS facility treating adults with neurological problems) and Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital (which provides rehabilitation following a stay in an acute hospital) as well as occasional support to other Hertfordshire NHS facilities providing similar rehabilitation.

Our volunteers are restoring Shillingstone Station on the old Somerset and Dorset Railway, with a section of the original line, to how it was in the 1950s/60s. Work includes the renovation of the station buildings, platforms and railway infrastructure, plus the restoration of heritage rolling stock. We have a small museum, shop and cafe, for the benefit of local residents, visitors and volunteers.

We are a Christian Community which meets together to worship, learn, act and care. We are based in a church building in the centre of Dorchester which is in use throughout the week by church groups, other community groups in the town, and national organizations. We have a shop, selling fair trade foods and crafts, Christian books, greetings cards, and CDs. We also run a coffee shop.

Step by Step (Wales) operates a gardening and clearance business as well as a Charity Shop to provide employment and training to those with addictions, ex-offenders or those who just need help to get back into work. The Charity also runs Church Services, Bible study and occasional fundraising events.
