To preserve for the benefit of the public such of the historical architectural or constructional heritage as may exist in Surrey in the form of buildings, gardens, plant, machinery or monuments. The Trust may purchase, sell or restore buildings, make grants and provide advice to owners, work in conjunction with public or charitable bodies and foster interest by way of visits and lectures.

Grants to individuals for educational purposes

TO PROVIDE RELIEF FROM POVERTY AND MAKE GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE PROVINCE OF DURHAM

For the promotion and advancement of education of the public, through the cultivation and study of the decorative and fine arts

The Group promotes and encourages the general education of the public in the study of ceramics, primarily of the Middle Ages. The Group holds meetings, conferences, publishes a journal and disseminates information to: the membership, the general public, other archaeologists, persons in allied fields and communicates the professional requirements of the membership to public and private bodies.

i) To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full-time gainful employment in Ross-On-Wye and its surrounding locality.ii) The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

Makes grants to organisations

The staging of classical opera; public concerts; education of the public in opera

Spritual benefit of the Society's members, both living and dead, and the relief of hardship, wherever it is encountered by making grants of money.

To provide funds for the relief of the poor and needy both at home and abroad and to further international understanding and goodwill.

The Objectives of the Colour Group are to encourage the study of colour in all its aspects and to promote the education of the public in the field of colour

To provide funds to purchase items for the education and enjoyment of pupils of the school.Fundraising activities have included for example bake sales, discos, Christmas Fair, Spring Fair, clothes and foreign coin donations.Items funded within the school have included for example classroom equipment, visits to school to support curriculum and sporting equipment for school teams and sports.

The Charity makes financial grants to organisations in furtherance of the education and training of young people and children within the Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle upon Tyne local authority areas.

The charity engages in a varying range of charitable giving by way of grants to registered charities, full details of which are shown in the annual accounts.

To make grants for charitable purposes, preference given to charities operating in the Merseyside area.

Hire of Village Hall for local activities, ie Community Coffee Shop, WI, local societies, Exercise Classes and parties. Maintaining building and grounds to required standards

Making grants to eligible individuals to fund learning opportunities.

The Charity's Trust Deed consolidates a number of ancient charities set up to provide funds for the Church of St Peter and St Mary Stowmarket. The funds thus provided are invested in land and securities.

We give grants to individuals, schools and organisations. Applicants must reside in Findern, Willington or Stenson (village). All grants are for residents under 25 years of age.

Education grants to under 25s in the Lichfield Diocese and upkeep and maintenance of Holy Angels Church Hoar Cross and Church Cottage.

The charity helps general charitable purposes. Helps children, the elderly, people with disabilities, other charities and the general public. This is activated by making grants to organisations.
