MAKING GRANTS TO SAWBRIDGEWORTH AND HIGH WYCH PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCILS TOWARDS THE COST OF INSURANCE, REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CHURCH AND CHURCHYARDS OF THOSE PARISHES FOR WHICH THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE.

Promotes and advances the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation and study of the decorative and fine arts and the giving of and to the conservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public. Member society of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS)

Enable persons from the Diocese of Winchester to visit the Churches of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and the DRC for the advancement of religion or other charitable work of those. Assist persons from those Churches with travelling or other expenses to visit the Diocese of Winchester. Provide funds for such other charitable purposes as the Bishop of Winchester may decide.

The advancement of the education of the public in the history of Coastal Forces by the restoration, preservation and permanent display, for public benefit, of Coastal Forces craft, together with relevant artefacts, records and memorabilia relating to such craft.In furtherance of these activities the Charity supports Coastal Forces veterans and historic craft.

Provide opportunities for young people to take part in scouting activities, in accordance with the policy, organisation and rules of the Scout Association.

Provides grants for photographic merit by way of submission.

Educational Grants to pupils of Tavistock College

Providing grants to cancer patients for special equipment or facilities, hospital visiting costs, additional domestic costs etc. Patients must be referred by medical professionals, hospice senior staff or social workers etc.

The charity achieves its objects by making grants to organisations and individuals within the area of benefit.

The principle activities of the charity include: weekend & monthend prayer meetings; Every second Friday night prayers; weekend classes for adults and children; observing Laylatul Qadr night of power prayer; monthly youth activities; yearly Eid festival prayers and celebrations, annual Graduation thanksgiving, family summer outings/trips/funfair and regular visit, advice and advocacy as necessary.

Relief of Poverty through grants to individuals and organisations

Provides bereavement grants,bi-annual grants and one-off grants to support dependants of deceased clergy who have been licensed in the diocese of Norwich.

It makes grants to organisations which are usually charities themselves, but not always so.

To provide funds in support of the upkeep for St Catherine's Parish Church, Ludham.

Mainly making grants to other charities involving health (eg LEPRA), religion (Church of England) or education (CAMFED) but also, sometimes, to individuals working in the same fields or in need of help themselves.

Delivering:- an educational programme of events inspired by the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, known as Authroposophy - study groups , workshops, festivals, and conferences. A lending library and bookstall. Advice and information for individuals and initiatives. Granting of loans and donations to individuals and institutions working out of the same impulse.

The Trust gives grants to published writers under 40 to assist with research and other costs.
