The Centre's objectives are to advance public education in the classical teachings of Yoga based on the highest standards of personal conduct and service to others, and to promote and advance the study and practice of and research into the therapeutic effects of Yoga as a means of preserving, protecting and improving the mental, physical and spiritual health of the community.

To advance the education of the pupils of the West London School of Dance and London Vocational Ballet School: to advance the education of the public in the performing arts in particular the art of dance;to promote the arts for the benefit of the public

The Foundation is a neutral body set up to facilitate debate on policy issues that have a science, engineering, technology or medical element. The Foundation publishes a journal and a website that communicates to the public the outcomes of the debates - see www.foundation.org.uk . The Foundation also provides guidance to learned and professional societies.

The activities of the charity are in furtherance of its purpose which is to advance the education of the public in relation to the Patriot class of railway engines.

Gateway Church meets for worship and teaching at the Gateway Centre. It also runs activities for the local community such as: drop-in cafe for over 65's, parent & toddler groups, an after-school club, community nursing service, debt advice services & the distribution of food from York Foodbank. The Centre also houses the offices of different charities whose work supports the local community.

AWC provides advice, information, advocacy, mentoring, training and support services to BME women, young girls and families including migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

E3 empowers local Christian partners to bring hope and enable sustainable development in communities affected by poverty and HIV in Africa. We help orphaned and vulnerable children, refugees and people living in some of the poorest communities to escape the cycle of poverty, through education, the relief of sickness and hardship, improving livelihoods and advocacy against gender-based violence.

Generally: a) supporting patients diagnosed with bladder cancer, their families friends and care givers b) promote awareness of bladder cancer, it?s symptoms, range, treatments and aftercare needs c) the provision of funding for research into the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure of bladder cancer. d) campaigning at government level for improvements in outcomes

TALBOT HOUSE IS A SUPPORT SERVICE FOR PARENT/CARERS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE LEARNING DISABILITIES WHO LIVE IN THE MANCHESTER AREA. WE OFFER; EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, CONSULTING WITH CARERS TO SHAPE SERVICES, ACCESS TO TRAINING FOR CARERS, INFORMATION ABOUT MONEY AND BENEFITS, BREAKS FOR CARERS AND ADVOCACY. WE ALSO HAVE A PAMPER SERVICE INCLUDING A NAIL SERVICE, REIKI, REFLEXOLOGY, MASSAGE AND BEAUTY.

Since 1982 the Manna House Trust has sought to serve the community by providing access to professional counselling services, accredited courses to students training to be future counsellors and supervisors, and wellbeing workshops, for everyone in Northamptonshire irrespective of faith background or ability to pay. It has also provided a coffee shop, bookshop and flats for the homeless.

Ockenden International works to support refugees, displaced people and their host communities as well as those returning from where they had fled with a view to facilitating the self-reliance of these target groups and their communities. Work is primarily overseas but also historically in the UK. Since 2010 Ockenden International has acted as a grant making body.

We strive to accurately represent the voices & aspirations of the people of the United kingdom on Africa, as well as, champion our cause that research, policy and practice ought to be coordinated to produce real benefits for the poor in society. We do this by engaging in quality research, projects, policy reflections and disseminating information to stakeholders for solving key challenges.

The David Brownlow Charitable Foundation is a grant giving charity dedicated to enhancing the lives and wellbeing of individuals and communities where there is an element of disadvatage, through personal development such as education, the provision of new equipment, or the improvement and regeneration of their community. It operates in the UK, mainly in the County of Berkshire.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for thirteen persons over the age of 55, with a preference for widows and single women, living in the "area of benefit" i.e. the south side of the River Thames up to a radius of 5 miles from the almshouses. Provision of grants to enable elderly people, living in the charity's area of benefit, to remain in their own homes.

The charity makes grants/donations to other charities registered with the Charity Commission as per the above categories. Please note that the charity will ONLY consider other charities based in the West Midlands. Any other area in the UK is considered outside the scope of the charity. Please do not expend charity resources if you fall outside these geographical areas or fail to meet criteria.

Self Injury Support (formerly Bristol Crisis Service for Women) provides support to women and girls affected by self-injury.We provide text and email support to girls and young women, and a telephone helpline for any women of any age. We also provide information and training about self-injury for those in contact with people who self-injure.

Rescuing and caring for animals, in particular rhinoceroses.Supporting education, health and employment in areas with endangered species with the aim of reducing the incidents of poaching and support conservation in those areas.Making grants for work to support conservation.
