The promotion of the education of the public in the social and natural history, geology and archaeology of England with particular reference to agriculture and agricultural history in Cambridgeshire and the Fens.

The charity (MVS) trains its members in maritime, engineering, operations and communications skills.The MVS has a policy of positive social inclusion and around 30% of members are from the disadvantaged sectors of society.MVS members use their skills to support local and national authorities in times of major events, emergencies both real and exercised and in civil resilience.

EDUCATION/ TRAINING, RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES, GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS

Afasic is a UK wide charity that represents and helps children and young people affected by speech, language and communication needs and their families. It operates a helpline and website, runs training for parents and professionals, and organises activities for children and young people. Afasic is a membership organisation and has local groups and points of contact across the country.

The charity makes grants in the areas of education and training and health and disability to Shropshire residents and projects. Grants are made to organisations and individuals. Education and training grants may be for courses undertaken both within or outside the area of benefit. Projects must operate and provide benefit within the area.

Grant-making.

The charity's objects and its principal activity continues to be that of the advancement of religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish faith and the relief of needy persons. The policy adopted in furtherance of these objects is to distribute the funds as and when the trustees and directors see fit to these worthy causes and there has been no change in this during the year.

Grant Making Charity. Focusing on discrete projects not general funding. Key areas are: 1. People in need 2. Tackling Poverty 3.Saving Lives & Improving Health. Support to small and medium sized charities registered in UK that have a proven track record and are energetic and highly efficient making a meaningful difference to people's lives.

The church maintains regular Sunday worship and a programme of fellowships to help develop faith and nurture discipleship. There is a Youth ministry, including participation at an annual Conference 3Gen. The Church runs a Fresh Food Bank weekly operating with an open door policy, no referrals requested. It supports the Neighbourhood Forum, the Brent Multi Faith Forum and Churches Together.

The Church is part of a quarterly preaching plan (produced by the Circuit of which Lichfield Methodist Church is part) which ensures regular acts of worship take place - open free of charge to anyone who wishes to attend. The Church runs a coffee shop, fellowship groups and a youth club - also open to everyone.The trustees have had regard to Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit

We undertake research in and to advance the education of the public in the protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by the promotion of sustainable development of urban food production and promote for the benefit of the public, the protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by the sustainable development techniques for urban food production.

Metamorphosis Foundation provides grants to charities & organisations [but not individuals] involved in the conservation sector & improvement of the physical & natural environment. We look in particular, but not exclusively to support organisations who can facilitate training and professional development in the sector for those who otherwise have difficulty in accessing such opportunities.

Financial support of the educational programmes of Neve Shalom / Wahat al-Salam that promote peace and equality, and advocacy in the UK about this work.

The Charity makes grants in relief of need amongst inhabitants of the Greater London Area. It also operates a small grants scheme for general charitable purposes in the London Borough of Bexley, in partnership with Bexley Voluntary Services Council.

The principal activity is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. We enable worship and prayer, learning more about the Gospel and developing people's knowledge and trust in Jesus; provide pastoral care, run a debt advice centre and support work with children and adults in the community.

Makes grants to individuals, elderly and people in need living in Barford St. Michael & St. John.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CARE AND OWNERSHIP OF DOMESTIC RABBITS KEPT AS PETS. ALSO TO FURTHER ADVANCE THE KNWLEDGE OF RABBIT MEDCINE AMONGST THE UK VETERINARY PROFESSION.

The Trustees' policy is to concentrate upon charitable organisations which directly benefit domestic animals in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. However, the Trustees do not limit support to these two countries or to domestic animals but are also interested in domestic animal, conservation and wildlife organisations throughout the world.

Vocal offers a free and independent issue based Advocacy services for adults with learning disabilities or communication difficulties.Vocal is also able to take on specialist contract work and can provide training for small groups of clients and the people who support them.

Our mission is for the WEL network to be the primary NGO sector influencer of environmental policy, legislation and practice in Wales, respected for our members expertise and advice and at the centre of government decision making.

Whilst the charity makes small grants to individuals and organisations it is primarily engaged in providing sheltered accommodation for the elderly at its almshouse, Lloyd Court.
