Grant making charity which makes donations to a wide range of charities and other community organisations which provide charitable benefits for communities within Greater Manchester, in particular, organisations for young people, provision for the sick, the disabled, the elderly and disadvantaged, support for educational initiatives by arts organisations and support for community groups.

The Charity, based in Wallsend, provides welcome, practical support, social/sporting activities, advocacy and sign posting for refugees and asylum -seekers in North Tyneside, as well as promoting the local Schools of Sanctuary.(The Trustee end-of-year report gives more details.)

Making grants to recognised charities

The principal activities of the charity continue to advance the education of the public in particular but not exclusively by addressing social, religious and political challenges affecting Muslim communities in the United Kingdom.

The Trust makes grants to organisations to advance the Christian faith and the relief of poverty.

The objects of the Charity are, for the public benefit, to preserve and protect good health and to advance education, in particular but not exclusively, by providing information, education, services, advocacy and resources relating to safe sexual and reproductive health, primarily for those facing the greatest disadvantage.

To empower and support those who have experienced domestic abuse by providing them with free, confidential family law legal advice. We strive to raise awareness of their legal rights and options so they can make informed choices about escaping the abuse and rebuilding their lives.

To promote and further the craft of beekeepingandTo advance the education of the public in the importance of honeybees in the environment.

The objects are:1) The relief of financial hardship by the provision of free legal advice and assistance to persons who through lack of means would otherwise be unable to access such services provided by a private practice and qualified legal representative or equivalent.2) The advancement of the education of the public by increasing knowledge and understanding of the law.

The charity runs a programme of meditation classes and buddhist teachings, open to everyone, in Keighley and local towns. The charity also has a World Peace Cafe at its Keighley centre to help further promote its activities. A centre in Burnley is now open to the public 2 Days per week for classes and has a small cafe and shop facility and has purchased a property which is currently renovating

TO PROVIDE VETERINARY TREATMENT FOR RESCUED ANIMALS IN OUR CARE BEFORE REHOMING IN VETTED HOMES. WE HAVE A STRICT NON DESTRUCTION POLICY.

The objects of the CIO are to provide a benefit to the public, namely:To promote and encourage inclusivity in environmental conservation with ethnic, isolated and marginalised communities, raising awareness, and taking action on blue and green environmental issues, such as river and ocean plastics, mangroves, tree reforestation, green skills, food growing, environmental media, arts and advocacy.

HOPE is open to people living in Halton Moor & Osmondthorpe, Leeds. Our office & group facilities are based locally & accessible to all. Open five days a week & some weekends our activities promote social inclusion & include for example, Friendship, Craft Groups, Day Trips, Childrens Activities & an Annual Holiday. We also operate a Community Food Pantry & offer Advocacy as well as Signposting.

New-U provides support to long term unemployed people via meaningful work experience opportunities in a clothes and accessories swap shop. We provide individualised support to increase confidence, self-esteem and skills to move towards work, training or volunteering. We encourage the wider public to re-use textiles and reduce waste.

Education of qualified registered nurses so that they can work with their church to provide health care (physical, mental and spiritual), advice and advocacy to their local community.Ongoing support for in post nurses and their appointing churches.Continuing education in the form of training days and an annual symposium.

A grant making trust to other charities who promote or provide activities for young people in the UK, particularly the disadvantaged and less able. Activities will normally be to promote the development of the individual by being physically and/or mentally challenging. Sailing and water sports in the Midlands are a priority. Grants are normally one off, for equipment or for specific purposes.

Awarding grants to institutions or individuals for purposes which benefit the community of Dunwich as a whole. A restricted fund awards grants to individuals in need within Dunwich (and occasionally in neighbouring parishes) and the elderly for a range of purposes from provision of care alarms to help with tertiary education expenses, emergency problems in the home and help with fuel costs.
