The Food Ethics Council brings people to the table to think deeply about, and to navigate ways through, critical ethical challenges in the food system. It does a mix of convening, research and advocacy across a range of food and farming issues, from GM crops to food poverty.

Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) seeks to connect and support grassroots independent food aid providers, to provide a voice for these groups by advocating on their behalf at a national level, and to campaign for food security for all - and the end for the need of charitable food aid in the UK.

We offer wellbeing support groups and activities with the aim of providing all people with a foundation of good health especially as it relates to emotional and mental wellbeing. Our focus is on creating community and empowering and teaching people how to have impactful and meaningful connections as a precursor to good health. To provide education and entertainment for members of the general public by giving a wide range of affordable, concessionary theatrical performances and concerts of music, drama and dance in the Nottingham area. To improve on performing or back stage skills for both amateur and professional members. Where possible to provide funds, time and performances to help charities.

ObjectsThe objects of CHPI as set-out in the objects of the company articles of association are: to advance the education of the public in health and social care policies and to promote informed debate and research for the public benefit in all aspects of that subject and to publish the useful results.

The main areas of work are for medical research and ecological conservation. Grants made in each year are split into approximately equal proportions between each area. Generally the trust makes grants to institutions and not to individuals. Projects outside the UK are not considered. Projects in the Godalming and Surrey areas are given special interest.
