The CGEF provides sponsorship grants to girls for secondary or high school education in their own Commonwealth country in cases where this might otherwise not be possible. Support is tailored to the individual needs of each girl based on academic potential, merit and need.

The RSPCA Cambridgeshire and Mid-East is a separately registered charity although we are supported by and work in partnership with the RSPCA National Society. We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in our area is raised in our area on supporting animal welfare . Income is also generated by our charity shops in March.

The charitable company's object is to promote,improve,develop and maintain public education and the appreciation of theatre and drama in all its aspects by, but not limited to: a) the preparation and presentation of theatre and music theatre perfomances by young people; andb) the provision of workshops in theatre and drama skills.

The Kidney Cancer Support Network (KCSN) is the only patient led kidney cancer charity in the UK, this gives our charity a unique perspective & understanding of the needs of kidney cancer patients their carers & families.The Kidney Cancer Support Network seeks to improve the lives of kidney cancer patients by providing advocacy, information, general resources and emotional and practical support

The objects of the Society are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music by the presentation of public concerts and other activities involving or relating to choral music.

The advancement of Public education in engineering and constructional skills, tradition and heritage in particular, but not exclusively, through the acquisition, construction, maintenance and exhibition of engineering models and the holding of talks, demonstrations workshops and other forms of communication.

Grant making

During the year the Trust received around 500 applications from referral agencies on behalf of clients in need; most of these were supported. Project grants to Community Associations and Schools were also supported. Beneficiaries must live within the boundary of the former Metropolitan Borough of St Pancras.

The Trust is established to help people in the United Kingdom in need, hardship or distress as a result of local, national or international disaster or by their social and economic circumstances. At their discretion, the trustees can make grants for any other charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the United Kingdom.

Success Charity is committed to enabling brighter futures for survivors of childhood brain tumours. Success provides dedicated rehabilitative support, access to information, resources and key assessments, connects survivors via peer support and networking events and conducts research to better understand the consequences of brain injury after treatment, and to improve advocacy for survivors.

York Pride raises awareness of LGBT issues by promoting and staging events,taking part in campaigning and commentary in the media, and providing support to other LGBT charities and voluntary organisations. The Friends of St Laurence, Lurgashall is a charity which provides grants to the Parochial Church Council of St Laurence's Church for the upkeep and maintenance of the church building and churchyard. Lurgashall is in the Diocese of Chichester in West Sussex. The church building is over 1,000 years old and support from the Friends is most welcome.

Befriending and mentoring service for our beneficiaries; information, advice and guidance; earlyintervention psychological support; NAAFI style socialization service; deliver presentations and trainingsessions to the general public about the armed forces, servicemen, their experiences, the impact on theirwell being and the challenge they face when reorienting back into the civil community.

Protect and preserve good health and safety of human life in an emergency by the provision of trained volunteers and search dogs (?Volunteers?) to assist organisations involved in the search and rescue of missing persons. Advance the education of the public in all matters relating to lowland search and rescue.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art of choral music for the public benefit by supporting Cornwall Youth Choirs (CYC) through the provision of funding, promotion of CYC membership and by organising events and rehearsals which further music education.
