The Lugden Hill Charity makes grants and donations to individuals and organisations which fulfil the criteria set out in it's governing document.

THE PROMOTION OF MILITARY EFFICIENCY BY THE PROVISION AND SUPPORT OF SOCIAL, SPORTING AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE EFFICIENCY AND WELL-BEING OF THE MEMBERS OF THE WARRANT OFFICERS' AND SERGEANT'S MESS. THE OBJECTS ALSO EXTEND TO MAKING GRANTS TO ANY ACTIVITY WHICH IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES IS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHARITY.

Makes grants to individuals or charities

Provision of free and impartial advice on energy efficiency and renewable energy to the public, small businesses, community groups and local authorities. The provision of grants and management of projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and relieving fuel poverty.

Funding raising to provide funds to church activities

The Charity makes charitable grants to support worthy causes in the builders merchants industry and the City of London, and to other charities with which the Company has a connection, particularly those craft-related.

Support Orthodox Jewish faith by making grants to Orthodox Jewish educational, religious and welfare institutions.

Supplying grants to young musicians between ages 18 and 21; receiving fulltime education at a recognised music college/academy. Priority is given to those who play/wish to purchase an instrument; violin, viola, or cello. Have the potential to make a career as professionals; teaching or performing. Applicants required to attend an audition. Applications received between September & January.

To advance the education of people who are in need of financial assistance and who come from those Commonwealth and Allied countries that contributed service men and women to the Burma Campaign.To establish and maintain memorials in remembrance of those who served in the Campaign.

The charity runs the Stephen Lloyd Awards, established in memory of inspirational lawyer Stephen Lloyd who died in August 2014. The aim of the awards is to find and nurture innovative ideas and projects that can lead to practical, sustainable social change (see www.stephenlloydawards.org). The charity is also a grant giving trust that will support charities and charitable projects of all kinds.

Educational and Cultural Centre Swindon CIO runs Polish Saturday School, Music School and Gift Shop in Swindon. The Polish School is our main activity and provides Polish language and heritage education for children at primary and secondary school age and also prepares for national qualifications at GCSE and A level in the Polish language.

We provide counselling, drop-in support services and the distribution of food goods to vulnerable individuals and their families directly affected by issues such as suicide, self harm and depression. We offer a safe and empathetic environment in three locations across Flintshire in order to facilitate improved mental health and a safer community. Volunteer in our charity shop or across services.

Lady Gould's Charity awards grants to people living in certain areas of Highgate, London who are, for whatever reason, unable to provide for basic necessities. The Charity makes grants of up to £600 per application. Grants typically cover household items such as baby essentials, furntiure, carpets, washing machines, cookers or clothing. The Charity makes around 85 grants per year.

The charity seeks to advance the Christian religion by way of a Christian book shop for the sale of Christian books, magazines, music and related products.

We offer free 1:1 specialist trauma counselling to people affected by any crime in Kent and Medway. Our main office is in Maidstone. We have satellite offices in Medway, Ashford, Tonbridge.We run a Helpline for people who are unable to access our offices. Professionals may also use this Helpline if they wish.

Formed in 1977 with the object of promoting the welfare of the elderly within Bude, and the surrounding areas detailed in our constitution, in any manner that is or may become charitable. Currently that involves operating a subsidised hospital car scheme and a subsidised shopping scheme supported by income from donations and a charity shop.

The PCC aims to promote in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, primarily focused on the advancement of religion. Regular worship is provided free of charge and open to all. It also teaches and takes school assemblies, makes donations to other charities and projects in the relief of poverty and need, often for minority groups with particular needs, such as the elderly.
