The trust's purpose is to advance the understanding and education of the public in respect of music and composers, with particular reference to the music of Stephen Dodgson. Its website at www.stephendodgson.com gives access to very many of Stephen Dodgson?s scores and announces events at which his music is to be played. It also commissions recordings and public performances of Stephen?s music.

Using funds donated by Mister Gees Foundation (trading) Limited which operates a shop in South Woodham Ferrers together with income generated by other fund raising events the Foundation provides grants to charities or other non profit organisations or individuals identified by the trustees at their discretion.

The Trustees offer grants to young people under 25 living within a 20 mile radius of Sheffield city centre, who have, in the opinion of the Trustees, demonstrated need. To support marginalised bright people aged 14 and above, with Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Tourette's Syndrome, mostly with mental ill health, and their carers to find a sustainable lifestyle. Lifeworks run social groups for clients, support groups for carers, an ADHD support group, outreach, advocacy, advice, diagnosis referrals, and where possible befriending and life coaching.

BEACON (Bradford Ecumenical Asylum Concern) was set up out of a shared concern to address the needs and concerns of the many people seeking asylum in the Bradford Metropolitan District and surrounding areas. We provide practical and moral support for people seeking asylum through the BEACON projects: McKenzie Friends (legal support) and CHAT (English conversation class).
