The charity is faith based and carries out its activities to fulfil the social, cultural, educational, charitable and religious needs of the community.It is non political and doesn't ascribe to any particular sect. It provides supplementary education, advice and advocacy and work to improve community relations.

Makes grants to organisations which provide services for war disabled ex-Service personnel (and former members of the mercantile marine disabled in war) and their dependants.

Working in North East London, we support people in need to stay independent, active and connected to their communities. We provide practical help through our home adaptations and therapeutic decluttering services, social and digital inclusion activities, falls prevention services, and advice and advocacy for people from marginalised and excluded communities.

We are devoted to creating, sharing and enabling philosophical thinking. We empower the curious of all ages and backgrounds to think about fundamental questions. We encourage a better understanding of our world and our place in it.. We look to actively support this work through grant giving programmes and a series of public lectures across the UK, encouraging positive access for many.

OPERATION OF A MUSEUM OF AUTOMATIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND ASSOCIATED ARCHIVES FOR THE GERERAL EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC

The trustee's policy is to consider appeals from charitable causes with a previous track record covering the welfare of children, relief of poverty advancement of arts and education.

The Trust derives the bulk of its income from investments and applies it in making grants to other registered charities.

Disability Resource Centre providing, among others, an Advice and Information service, an Advocacy Project, Policy Project, Lifelong Learning Project, Consultation Project and Personal Budgets Project.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for thirteen persons over the age of 55, with a preference for widows and single women, living in the "area of benefit" i.e. the south side of the River Thames up to a radius of 5 miles from the almshouses. Provision of grants to enable elderly people, living in the charity's area of benefit, to remain in their own homes.

The trustees follow a general policy of distributing the trust's income whilst maintaining the substance of the trust's investments to enlarge its grant-giving potential.

Gives loans/grants to young men and women who reside in Northampton

Grants to promote the acquisition by national and regional libraries and archives of printed books, manuscripts and records of historical, literary, artistic, architectural, musical or such like interest and to assist the libraries in any other way which the Charity considers appropriate.

Gives financial support to South Wilford Endowed School and grants to individuals and youth groups operating in the Ancient Parish of Wilford, Nottingham. Finances are generated through commercial letting of office buildings in London.

The income of the charity is derived from investments and donations. The charity makes grants and donations to support religious educational and other charitable institutions.

The trust supports the preservation of churches or chapels of any christian denomination in Norfolk or the dioceses of Norwich. The trust makes grants to parishes and congregations to repair restore and preserve christian churches and chapels.

The present policy of the Council is to make grants direct to schools to assist towards Sixth Form school fees for students with high academic standards and whose families are experiencing severe financial hardship.

Grants may also be given to groups or organisations where the members satisfy the age and residence requirements. Considerable aid is given to young people with special needs.
