We give specialist advice, representation and training in Housing, Welfare Rights, Immigration and Employment Law. We are a referral agency.

Homelessness:Client involvement in services and policy. Peer research.Peer advocacy. Peer education.

Organising and presenting international exhibitions of contemporary art and related events including performances, artists' commissions, films. Organising a broad education programme for a diverse audience from the city and region. Collaborating with artists and other organisations in this country and abroad. Operate cafe/bar and shop.

We work with government, voluntary and private sectors at local, national and international level, combining research, consultancy and professional development.

Advice services to the public through the provision of a Citizens Advice Bureau Service including additional projects targeted at specific groups and the provision of legal help in areas of social welfare law for those eligible. We also provide housing related support services to vulnerable client groups and practical assistance to the single homeless to secure and retain suitable accommodation

The objects of the charity are:-- to assist in the advancement of education and training for children, their families, staff and others working in the fields of early years, family support and community development.- to undertake research of early years and family policy and practice and to disseminate such findings both nationally and internationally.

As a family foundation our object is:"To further such charitable purposes (charitable under English law) as the trustees see fit from time to time through the provision of grants."Our grant making policy and procedure sets out how the trustees decide on causes to fund.

Main area of activity is London Borough of Newham. Current activities include: medium level support for homeless 16-25 year olds; specialised support for homeless adults with alcohol and substance issues; training for disadvantaged students; crisis support for refugees; advocacy and advice for informal carers; children and young people's work; and operating community facilities.

To further the conservation of the UKs native amphibians and reptiles via conservation management, advocacy, research and education throughout the British Isles, Europe and elsewhere in the world.

The Unite Foundation provides a scholarship scheme for, and undertakes research and campaigning on behalf of, care leaver and estranged students in Higher Education with the objective of: Widening access to higher education, supporting academic progression, developing post graduate outcomes and employability.
