The Trust makes grants:to support general charitable purposes for the benefit of the people of Sheffield, and to support the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in Sheffield.

- Provision of information, practical and emotional support to parents and families of premature and sick babies- Programmes and training for health professionals to improve family centred care- Funding and championing clinical research- Campaigning for change within government and the NHS- Raising awareness of issues that affect premature and sick babies and their families

We operate the St. Paul's Steiner School in the former St. Paul's Church in Islington where children are educated from the age of 3 till 14 years. The objective is to advance the education of the public based on the researches and philosophy of Rudolf Steiner.

Provision of housing - almshouses - for older persons who are in need, hardship or distress within Newcastle upon Tyne. Payments for the relief in need of the Brethren and Sisters of the Hospitals of Thomas Davison, Ann Davison and Sir Walter Blackett. Making grants to, & provide or pay for items, services & facilities for individuals & organisations who are in need, hardship or distress.

Birmingham Citizens Advice Bureau has twin aims:* provision of information, advice and advocacy to the people of Birmingham and* influence the development of social policy to tackle injustice, reduce poverty and social exclusionThis free, confidential and impartial advice service is provided to the standards set by national Citizens Advice

The provision of advice services to Wandsworth residents

The Trust is dedicated to engaging, involving and empowering people from both the heart and the head. Objects are to advance:- animal welfare and conservation, the education of the public in animal welfare and conservation, environmental protection, to promote and participate in science-based research projects to assist the survival of endangered species

The charity works to make later life as fulfilling as possible regardless of personal circumstances. It achieves this for older people and their family carers through providing information and advice, care and support services, and campaigning with and for them.

CARE is a registered Christian charity seeking to combine practical caring initiatives, at national and community level, with public policy on social and ethical issues. CARE provides resources, campaigns, undertakes caring work and helps to bring Christian insight and experience to matters of public policy, education and practical caring initiatives, particularly on behalf of the most needy.

To develop a system leadership culture where knowledge sharing is a conduit to continuous improvement. To ensure qualifications and training are available to support high standards of professional practice. To support HM Government with implementation of policy and to engage in formal consultations.

Notts SVS Services operate to offer support to 13 year+ survivors of sexual violence such as rape, attempted rape, childhood sexual violence and abuse by providing telephone helpline support, face-to-face support or counselling and practical support in the Nottinghamshire area.

The current activities are to further public education in botany,horticulture and zoology and provide facilities for research. In addition the charity maintains and operates the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses for the above purpose and for the recreation of the public.

Assisting the member bureaux to secure funding from Essex County Council and other county and national level bodies, acting as a conduit to the processing of these funds and to streamline the relationship between bureaux and funders.

GRANT-MAKING

War on Want fights poverty in developing countries in partnership and solidarity with people affected by globalisation. We campaign for human rights and against the root causes of global poverty, inequality and injustice.

To promote the efficiency of the Army by providing immediate financial relief of persons who are in a condition of need, hardship or distress and are the dependants or next of kin of a deceased soldier or officer.2. If and insofar as trustees cannot apply the income for the object above, they will apply it in making grants to the ABF The Soldiers' Charity for their general purposes.

Twining Enterprise provides services to enable adults with mental health problems to gain and sustain mainstream employment. Services include information, advice and guidance, practical support and training.

The charity supports the Building Crafts College through an annual grant and also makes grants to other charities and individuals within the building craft.

The Advocacy Academy trains young people to engage in collective action to improve their communities and tackle social issues that directly affect them.

Advice, information and support to members of our local communities on a range of issues, including debt, benefits, employment, housing and relationships. Also exercise a responsible and confidential influence on social policies locally and nationally.

The object of the Charity is the relief of needy elderly people. The principal activity of the Charity is to provide high quality, professional residential care at two Homes for elderly persons of limited means at Rosehill and Barn Close, Carlisle. In addition, since 2016 the Charity has made grants to Age UK Carlisle and Eden to fund a Carlisle based information and advice officer.
