Training, workshops and events for children and young people; parents and carers and professionals. A network of branches and Explorer Clubs throughout England, Wales and N Ireland.

To promote and develop for the public benefit the science of the design, manufacture and related technology of motor vehicles and the science of their repair; and to further public education therein.

The Charity rehomes cats/kittens in the Colchester area. Each cat has a vet check up, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping.We have a number of cats available for rehoming. Some cats are also looked after at the Sanctuary for the rest of their lives, cats are only put to sleep on veterinary advice.We are entirely dependent on our fundraising, and run a small Charity Shop to help provide income

Supporting people with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties (LDD) to live happy, independent lives and providing opportunities for them to have their voice heard. Key to this are our specialist advocacy, sport activities and user-led consultation and quality monitoring service offer to empower people with LDD and ensure they can access the same opportunities as everyone else.

Provides grants towards individuals educational costs if they are under 25 and have either resided in the City of Westminster or been schooled there for at least 2 years. Currently not providing grants to Tertiary or Further Education. Also provides grants to some Organisations. Various eligibility criteria apply, please apply in writing.

The objects of the Institute are to advance the education of the public in the protection of the environment in the continent of Europe and in all forms of national and international policy relating thereto, and to carry out research and enquiry into all aspects of the environment and environmental policy. The Architecture Foundation is a non-profit agency for contemporary architecture, urbanism and culture. Through our diverse programmes we facilitate international and interdisciplinary exchange and engagement amongst professionals, policy makers and a broad public, and shape the quality of the built environment. We are independent, agile and inclusive. We believe that architecture enriches lives.

The trust was established to relieve conditions of need, hardship or distress of the Christadelphian Community in the British Isles by providing grants. The trust has a policy of making regular grants, the largest of which is the Christadelphian care homes and irregular compassionate grants to individuals.

The principal object of the Charity is to provide grants and general donations for charitable purposes.

We host a mother and toddler group, a pre-school, 3 senior and 1 junior football team, social and team skittles, shortmat bowls, darts teams, snooker teams, a whist and bridge club, bingo, oap's group. We subsidise twice weekly lunches, we host functions, organise coach trips, children's Christmas party, monthly police surgeries and legal advice, occassional MP's surgeries and a polling station.

Advance the education of the public in machine vision and pattern recognition

The Foundation awards grants to individuals and organisations to meet the cost of education that is not the statutory responsibility of either central or local Government. Beneficaries must be permanent residents of either the City of London or the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Priority is given to those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Income is applied at the discretion of the trustees: In relieving individuals who are serving or former members of the regiment or former regiments and dependents who are in conditions of need., hardship or distress, by making grants to money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce need, hardship or distress.

To undertake and promote research into the causes of heart disease in both adults and children and to make available the results of such research.To also provide funds for the benefit of charitable objects and purposes in any part of the world.

CASBA is a small voluntary organisation, which specialises in the provision of independent advocacy support to adults with learning disabilities/difficulties. CASBA is based in Selly Oak and covers the South Birmingham Area. An Independent Advocate is someone who can help identify an individual's wishes and needs; support them to express their wishes and act for what that person wants.

The objectives of the charity are to promote for the benefit of the public the preservation and conservation of rare and endangered species together with plants and trees. The charity also aims to advance the education of the public about such endangered species and to conduct research throughout the world and publish reports and findings.
