Gwent Wildlife Trust has a vision of an environment rich in wildlife for everyone. We work to rebuild biodiversity and engage people with their environment. We manage land, campaign for wildlife, provide advice and promote enjoyment and appreciation of wildlife.

To provide free, impartial and confidential advice and information to our clients on a range of issues that may include debt, welfare benefits, housing, employment, health and relationships.

We work to significantly reduce alcohol harm in the UK by: funding, commissioning and sharing research; working to ensure more and better support and treatment; encouraging better policy and regulation; shifting drinking cultures through our campaigns; and working to change drinking behaviours by providing advice and information.

The object of the charity is to make grants for the benefit of the public for such charitable purposes as the trustees think fit. The trustees are particularly keen to support projects in the North East of England, reaching those most disadvantaged in the region. The charity has adopted a grant making policy and is actively seeking out charitable organisations which it might support.

RASA offers support & counselling anyone who has experienced any form of sexual violence (Rape, CSA, CSE) at any time in their life. We offer support, counselling, advocacy, training, groups,court & CJS support. We work with adults & children - children receiving specialist support in our Sunflowers Children's Service. In the case of very young children, RASA will work with parents or caregivers.

We are a disabled people's organisation run by disabled people and their groups and provide direct payment, personal budget support, welfare rights, independent living and mental health advocacy and appeals representation. Our activities are based on a human rights and Social Model of Disability approach with a focus on achieving independence, equality and dignity.

Publication of society journals. Professional training grants (Fellowships, PhD students,Bursaries) Specific policy projects. The setting up of addictions professionals' organisations. We hold an annual conference and support other conferences. Communicate policy projects' findings to policy makers & research findings to practitioners. Maintain the society website/online resources

THINKTANK TRUST'S CHARITABLE OBJECTS ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, EXPANSION AND DEVELOPMENT OF MUSEUMS IN BIRMINGHAM AND THE INCREASING OF PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING ABOUT HISTORY, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The Chalke Valley History Trust has been established by the founders of the Chalke History Festival to promote the understanding and enjoyment of history. The Trust intends to carry out its objects by making grants to the Chalke Valley Festival, the Chalke Schools History Festival, school history trips, and other history related projects.

A holistic model of regeneration and social provision providing Children Centre, parenting, youth, employment support, careers advice and guidance, leisure, health and fitness + sports provision, volunteering and support services for the elderly plus collaborative working with other third sector and statutory agencies in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and surrounding areas.

Provides independent advocacy services through all age ranges including those with mental health issues, mental capacity issues, learning disabilities, carers in North Wales and Surrounding areas. The service operates primarily within the geographical areas of Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd and Anglesey although not exclusively.

The charity makes grants to a wide variety of charitable causes in the UK and Overseas. Particularly in the fields of Education & Training, Medical Health & Sickness, Arts & Culture, Sports & Recreation, Relief of Poverty and General Charitable purposes.

Young Roots works with young refugees supporting them to improve their wellbeing and fulfil their potential, through intensive one-to-one Casework, youth and sporting activities, English language mentoring, youth leadership and access to specialist therapeutic and legal advice.

The Charity operates: to promote community participation in healthy recreation; to provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need for such facilities; and to advance the education of the public.

The charity provides immediate safety and support to victims and their children who have experienced domestic violence or abuse. This is done primarily through the provision of an advice centre and telephone helpline, refuge accommodation, including a substance misuse refuge and group work for victims and perpetrators.

TO OFFER FREE, IMPARTIAL, INDEPENDENT AND CONFIDENTIAL ADVICE TO ALL WHO LIVE AND WORK OR STUDY IN BARNET, ENSURING THAT INDIVIDUALS DO NOT SUFFER THROUGH LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THEM, OR THROUGH INABILITY TO EXPRESS THEIR NEEDS EFFECTIVELY; AND IMPROVE THE POLICIES AND PRACTICES THAT AFFECT PEOPLE'S LIVES.
