The Peckham Settlement is a grant making charity working for the benefit of Peckham, Nunhead and its environs.It offers grants from £100 up to £5000 and is overseen by a Board of Directors/Trustees . Beneficiaries of its grants include the elderly; young people; people with disabilities and sections of the community who are experiencing inequalities and injustices.

The charity provides financial assistance in the form of grants to individuals (and in appropriate circumstances, organisations) in the parish of Gorleston-On-Sea who are deemed to be in need.

Amateur Dramatic Society. Promoting general education of the public in all aspects of drama.

Grant Making

Makes grants to young people under the age of 25, who are or have been a pupil at a school in the town of Hertford, for educational purposes.

One Fund provides grants for educational purposes to people under 25 years old and a second provides grants to people in financial hardship. These are restricted to inhabitants of the civil parish of Sedbergh. A third owns a building rented by Cumbria CC as a library,the income can be used to give grants for charitable purposes in Sedbergh and its neighbourhood. A fourth fund owns an almshouse.

To further the understanding of the role and history of the Royal Air Force in peace and war through publications, seminars and educational and charitable grants.

The Society promotes, enhances, develops and maintains public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects. It does this through rehearsals and concert performances of the choral repertoire mostly with full orchestra, as well as through workshops and visits to performances of professional choral groups and orchestras.

Making grants to Masonic and non masonic charities without restriction, generally disabled or in financial difficulties, including individuals and organisations. Also making grants to Norfolk Freemasons and their families and support the four main masonic charities.

The aims of the Charity are to provide grants to residents of Banham who are considered to be poor and in need. Grants are awarded to help with heating bills, educational and illness needs.

Currently regular expenditure is:- Insurance premium for a collection of Horatio Nelson memorabilia (a student at Paston) - Annual grants to students nominated by the college - From 2008 bursary grants to students outside catchment area to assist travelling.General financial support to the college.

Organising annual conferences to promote World Mission. Making grants to enable young people to attend conference. Making grants to support organisations involved in mission work overseas.
