The object is to advance the education of the public by collecting,preserving and exhibiting collections of period costumes and accessories connected therewith and to establish and maintain a public museum or place for storing.The main activities in relation to these objects are designing and mounting an annual exhibition and continuing the collection and care of the said objects.

The Charity operates in the Parishes of Chalgrave and Hockliffe in the County of Bedfordshire. It derives its income from investments and pays grants to young people under the age of 25 years. These grants are for educational purposes.

Giving grants to Trull School, Trull Church and relief for those in need in the Parish of Trull and part Comeytrowe.

Grants to young people for educational purposes

Grants to support Ministers and students in recognised ministerial training. Grants for projects which enable outreach and mission, especially to children and young people.Grants to enable individuals, particularly young adults, to access practical training and discipleship which equips them for Christian service.Purchases Bibles for children and young people.

Making grants to relieve need, hardship or distress;to further the religious and charitable work of the Church of England and applying surplus income thereafter for charitable purposes benefiting the inhabitants of the area of benefit. The area of benefit is the Civil Parishes of Liss, Milland and Rogate and the Ecclesiastical Parishes of St Luke's Milland and St Luke's Lynch with Iping Marsh.

GRANTS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY, TO YOUNG PEOPLE THAT RESIDE IN THE PARISH OF ST.NEWLYN EAST UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS. ALSO GRANTS TO LOCAL VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS IN THE PARISH OF ST.NEWLYN EAST, CONSISTING OF YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY.

Makes grants for sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm to persons in need living in Warwick district or Southam rural area, by paying for items, services or facilities not available from others, including holidays, cooker, carpet, white goods, home aids etc or a contribution. Applications in a special form must be supported by an authorised agency ie Social Services, Health Authority

To advance the education of the public in the arts, particularly music, speech, drama and dance. A festival of music speech and dance is held in Feb/March each year in Godalming.

Providing free and confidential information,advice and guidance,benefiting the community of Chapelgreen in the City of Sheffield and adjoining areas. Organise and undertake relevant research work.Work with relevant institutions and organisations to secure the widest range of services that best matches the needs of its client population,obtain monies through grants and donations.

The advancement of the education of the public in the study of Micropalaeontology through research, publications and meetings (both national and international) and maintaining a Directory of Micropalaeontologists.

Makes charitable grants. Makes charitable loans where these may attract matching funds, other grants etc.

Grants are made to local organisations in Cirencester & District, as it sees fit. The Trust also makes one-off grants to individuals within Cirencester & District who are in need as indicated by their GP or other qualified health professional.

Activities for the benefit of sick and or disabled children by the provision of financial assistance to individuals, including holidays for themselves and their families. To Provide advocacy/information and emotional support to children and their families and or to support the charitable work of similar institution

1. To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of middle aged and older people who are not in full time gainful employment in Stockton-on-Tees and its surrounding locality.

Own and manage 6 almshouses and benefits elderly local people through providing accomodation via the almshouses and making grants

Makes grants to Individuals and groups for educational purposes resident within one mile of the Tarring Reading Room.

The charity makes grants to other charitable organisations to be applied for such charitable purposes for the welfare of animals in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire as the trustees should in their absolute discretion think fit.

The trust makes grants to those who work in, or have worked in, the coal mining industry and are suffering hardship, it also supports organisations in coalfield areas/communities

Making grants to other charitable organisations who organise holidays for children and young persons under the age of 25 who by reasons of their social or economic circumstances would benefit from a holiday and occasionally making grants to individuals recommended by social services or schools for the same purpose.Cut off application date February each year for grants in May. The charity makes donations to churches and Christian organisations. In addition it makes payments for the relief of poverty and support of Christian workers.

To promote, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purpose as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committe may from time to time decide.
