The charity's main aims are to promote the physical and mental health of children, women and orphans in Bangladesh through the provision of financial assistance, support, education, accommodation, food and medical treatment.

The prevention or relief of poverty in Bangladesh and Tanzania in particular by the provision of grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

This year has been a difficult year to raise money due to the recession. 4 people had their cataract removed in Bangladesh. At the moment we a supporting a family in Bangladesh on a monthly basis as the head of family had a heart attach and died we are sending them ?100 a month from any donation we are receiving.

TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY

The Fund supports specific research projects in the life and earth sciences undertaken in the field. There are no specified requirements in terms of nationality or qualification, but applicants should demonstrate existing skills experience or expertise. . Grants may be for a proportion of total costs, such as travel or for specific items of equipment.

Nisai Education Trust carries out proofs of concept and action research into effective models of online education that meet the needs of the most vulnerable learners.It also develops professional understanding of the organisation and leadership of online education, and the understanding of pedagogy and the curriculum for online and blended education for vulnerable learners.
