COBRA FOUNDATION IS AN INDEPENDENT CHARITY PROVIDING HEALTH, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN SOUTH ASIA, ESPECIALLY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SAFE WATER.CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES INCLUDE GIVING HELP WITH DISASTER RELIEF IN THE REGION.

Based in Ipswich, Suffolk Al-Tazid mainly works with the very poor and needy in Sylhet District of Bangladesh providing clean water, eye clinic, educational equipment, distribution of clothes and other basic necessities of life for the destitute. Members raise funds in the United Kingdom which enables this charity to help our beneficiaries improve their quality of life.

The main purposes of the charity are as follows:a) The relief and assistance of people in need in Asia who are the victims of war or natural disaster;b) The relief and assistance of people in need in the UK and Asia who are the victims of poverty;c) The advancement of further education for individuals in deprived areas of the UK; andd) The advancement of the Islamic religion

Running of a health care centre in the village of Kotal Pur. It provides free/affordable basic health care to the 11,000 villagers. Providing interest free loans to a number of villagers to enable them to start small businesses. Donating livestock to villagers. Providing active assistance in running of the village schools.

During the year the charity continued to raise funds from membership fees. There are continuous commitments from the users and members to support charity's activities. It aims to provide services in advancement of health or saving of lives. Disability and prevention of poverty, social welfare to the community and promotes social awareness among the Bangladeshi community in UK and Bangladesh.

Social welfare charitable work benefiting disadvantaged people

Working globally, for the public benefit, to advance education among the public, medical practitioners, patients, and others, about antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through the provision of educational resources, programmes, advocacy development, community building and tools including a website, social media campaigns, webinars, events, and other media.

The advancement of education and relief of poverty and sickness in Moulvi Bazar, Bangladesh in particular but not exclusively by the making of grant

The Charity has undertaken to set up a Health care facility in a disadvantage village name Sader Char, Bangladesh. At the same time it also provides financial support to the orphans and poor students to continue their education.

The Grifaid Charity is about safe water for all, providing access to safe drinking water for families and communities, resulting in the relief of hardship, the preservation of health and the support of education among people in poverty residing in developing countries.

Eye Care health organisation helping people irrespective of their read,colour and religion and ethnicity by treating and preventing Cataract blindness by providing free cataract surgery in the hospitals and holding eye camps in Afro Asia Pakistan in particular. Helps school children and poor people by providing glasses .ECHO also provide grant for eye diseases research in the UK
