Community Focus was established in 1978.Our old unincorporated charity number was: 287222We became incorporated in 2010 and now appears as a newly registered charity as a result of this.CF delivers innovative creative workshops:photography, textiles,creative writing,art, watercolour, life drawing,ceramics, IT, dance,drama and many ground-breaking projects throughout the year.

To provide for the relief of needs of disabled persons including:1.Services and support for their wellbeing;2. Facilities for their recreation, training, education and medical rehabilitation residing in London Borough of Barnet; and3. Promoting independent living, advocating social inclusion and equality and developing and providing opportunities for them to engage in economic activity.

Care for the poorest of the poor, the homeless, abandoned orphans, aged poor, widows, lonely, spiritually poor etc. by feeding, clothing, educating, sheltering, or providing vocational training, care for the lepers, blind, deaf & dumb as well as accident victims. We also hope to develop within the community at large respect for those who are destitute and a sense of responsibility towards them

The provision of public worship, teaching, evangelism and pastoral work. Supporting other charities in the U.K. and overseas.

Sunday meetings for Christian worship, preaching, missionary interest and junior church. Social Action includes meals for homeless and vulnerable adults five nights per week (assisted by other local churches). Enquirers' and marriage enrichment courses. Social gatherings. Outreach to older people through weekly fellowship meetings and an annual holiday-at-home.

General charitable grants

Providing practical and emotional support for vulnerable members of society via My Yard who become isolated due to crisis. We collect and distribute food, provide a range of activities for youth, help survivors of Domestic Abuse, Families and Caregivers and Children who've had life changing injury due to accident or illness, We focus on families in temporary housing.

Facilitating Talmudic Study

The principal activities of the charity are the granting of donations to achieve the charity's objectives.

The Trustees oversee the administration of the Synagogue and deal with Burial Ground and communal matters

RYA Dinghy Sailing courses & taster sessions. BCU Canoeing & kayaking, Dragon boating, wobble boarding and traditional raft building for young people and adults. We are an RYA Training Centre. Sessions are run by volunteers who are RYA or BCU qualified Instructors who are assisted by our young ESSA Crew. Our 23 acre lake at Nazeing is suitable for beginners and intermediate participants.
