Community Welfare Services provides relief of poverty and addresses food insecurity for disadvantaged families with young children, new mothers and elderly individuals, by providing assistance to promote well-being and sustenance. We run various targeted initiatives aimed at ensuring access to food and daily living essentials, ultimately making a positive impact on the lives

Trinity Church advances the Christian faith according to the principles of the United Reformed Church and the Baptist Union of Great Britain. We do this through acts of public worship, Christian teaching, mission and evangelism, working for peace and justice, serving the community, supporting other charitable bodies and making our premises available to community groups.

Regular public worship open to all. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer and comtemplation. Pastoral work, inc. visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses, groups and relgious assemblies in schools. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers and support for UK and overseas charities.

The Charity is established to advance in life and relieve needs of young people who have need byreason of their youth, age, poverty or social and economic circumstances, especially but notexclusively those living in the boroughs of Hackney and Haringey.

The charity was dormant until 31/12/2011. It commenced operating on 01/01/2012. The objects of the charity are such charitable works as shall advance religious and other work of the Congregation as the Trustees with approval of the Superior shall from time to time think fit.

SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH

OYA runs a cluster of projects for African youngsters and their families on a council estate: a supplementary school (English, Maths, Science) for 11-16 years olds, a culture programme (African choir, dance, drama), a trainee scheme (paid Saturday jobs and training in youth work and administration) for 16-18 year olds, and a Family Programme including advice, advocacy and volunteering.

Support children and young people with disabilities and their families by providing advice, information, respite and recreational activities.

The Trustees have established a Synagogue providing facilities for prayer, religious studies and communal activities.

The object of the charity, as detailed in the Trust Deed to relief of poverty, advancment of education in the religion of ortodox Jewish faith and such other purposes as are recognised by English Law as charitable among members of the Jewish community in North West London.

PROVISION OF WATER SPORTS AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Friends of the Sick (Chevrat Bikkur Cholim) is an independent charity whose objective is to provide support workers to members of the Jewish Community who are incapacitated through accident, ill-health, old age or any other reason. The Charity strives to achieve this by providing one-on-one support in the homes of members of the Jewish Community who live in the London area.

Maintenance and preservation of common lands formerly held by the Lord of the Manor of Totteridge and the rural amenities attaching there to for the benefit of the residents of Totteridge and neighbouring districts and visitors.

To promote a kinder society, without killing animals for food. To make people aware of the benefits of rejecting cruelty to animals and the extension of this to an improved society where mankind is not cruel to fellow beings, both human and animals, as expressed in the Torah, which teaches kindness to all sentient creatures and for the replenishment of the earth and plant and animal species.

MAINLY DISTRIBUTION OF FREE MILK AND IN ADDITION OTHER FOODS AND CLOTHING TO POOR AND NEEDY FAMILIES

Provides support to Barnet's children in care and care leavers beyond that which Barnet council are able to offer. This is in the form of enrichment activities and opportunities that children would usually receive from their parents.
