Mindful Movers are a peer led group, supporting with mental health and wellbeing. We have a Basecamp with Thornes Park nursery, Thornes Park, Wakefield. We offer a range of activities including walk & talk sessions, open volunteering days, creative health sessions, TRIBE personal development programmes and accredited qualification courses. Gardening and nature based activities at the Basecamp site

promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing rugby union football and other sports.assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation irrespective of age, disability, poverty or social background.advance education of children and young people.

We offer activities to young people aged 8 to 19 years. We also undertake street based youth work and drama. We assist young people in writing CVs, job search, linking in and signposting young people on to other organisations that can support them. We also offer information advice and guidance on a number of issues that impact on young peoples lives including: drugs/alcohol/sexual health/bullying.

The Charity is a Church part of the Wesleyan Reform Union of Churches. It provides a religious service every Sunday open to everybody. The Church runs a Christian youth activity each Friday open to Children of secondary school age.The Youngster are taken on visits to further their spiritual development. The church holds periodic special events open to the general public.

To advance the education of people in the arts for the public benefit, in particular classical music of professional standard, primarily, but not exclusively, through the provision of public orchestral performances, and the education of young musicians, young people and the provision of classical music to those less likely to engage with it.

The principal activities of the charity are in the field of promotion and furtherance of the religion of Islam in accordance with the Quran, the Sunna and the teaching of the Sunni Muslims.

Headway Rotherham exists to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with brain injury, their families and carers.

The Group runs in the village of Askern catering for children between the ages of 8 to 14 We run under the rules of Scouting. With a view to maximising a Young persons values and self worth.

PROMOTION OF THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO THE DOCTRINE AND PRACTICES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND. ENABLING PEOPLE TO WORSHIP AT CHURCH, ATTEND EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CHURCH BUILDINGS AND BECOME PART OF THE PARISH COMMUNITY.THE PCC MAKES SUGGESTIONS ON HOW SERVICES, EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES CAN INVOLVE THE MANY GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS, THAT LIVE WITHIN THE PARISH.

The charity activities are there to benefit all people. Re: The advancement of religion (Christian) through charitable work through Christian based meetings. For example weekly family meetings (adult and children), youth club, childrens club. Parent and toddler group and support for disadvantaged and the elderly.

Recreation ground

The Provision of a Recreation Ground for the benefit of the Inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, members of the past Mining Community) of the area of benefit, without distinction of Political, Religious, or other opinions, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said Inhabitants.We incorporate Brass Band,Bowling,Football,Rugby & Boxing/Exercise Gym Facilities.

Promotion of amateur music in South Yorkshire

The object of the charity is to apply the clear income in relieving the need among clergy, deaconesses and licensed lay workers who are resident in or have served in the Diocese of Leeds and among persons who are dependent relatives of any members of the clergy by making grants of money.

Our Church, along with our Sunday services go out into the community, helping and serving others, providing food and clothing to the homeless and giving them support to overcome their circumstances.We have a community choir and hold mum's and tot's sessions. We have one to one mentoring sessions and a schools team.

Fundraising to support additional activities, materials and facilities that are supplementary or not available from the school budget.

A village civic society that also organises and manages a small village museum.
