To provide for the theatrical education of young persons resident in Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire who are members of an operatic or dramatic society affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Asssociation and to make grants to assist in disbursing the cost oftheir attendance at Theatre School Courses or Study Groups.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH SAILING

The Charity provides grants to eligible charitable organisations. Whilst the Trustees have absolute discretion, the overall mix of grants over time represents approximately 30% to the North of England Zoological Society, 30% to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and 40% to various charitable organisations mainly in the Sheffield region, often those supporting community-based projects.

Rescue, rehabilitate & rehome where possible, equines, cats & dogs. We act as a 'safe house' for RSPCA, police & other groups rescued horses. We allow visits from schools, disadvantaged people, disabled and other interested parties.

The charity has recently completed restoration of 42 King Street, Thorne, Near Doncaster. It retains the property and manages as four fully let apartments. The Trust is currently involved in the restoration of the Nonconformist Chapel in the Sheffield General Cemetery, a grade II* listed building on English Heritage's "At Risk" register.

Promotion, nurture & support of high standards among BAME artists & creative practitioners in all branches of the performing arts, enabling them to secure employment across the spectrum of existing & new, mainstream & fringe opportunities.Creative enterprise training; 1:1 mentoring; showcases; building relationships with mainstream organisations to facilitate BAME practitioner participation

Providing training, information and support to professionals working with people with additional needs, as well as to families and people living with additional needs.

To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the communities in and around the Royston and Carlton area. In particular the advancement of education and the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the residents.

Support capacity in community

The charity provides training, information and guidance to young people for the purposes of helping them become employable

Provide a range of inclusive activities for children and young people including Breakfast Club, Afterschool Club, Holiday Playscheme, Toddler Groups, Creche Facilities. Stomp Clubs took over the running of Hullaballoos Indoor Play Centre in February 2012.

PROVIDE HOMES FOR RETIRED MINERS

The charity operates on 2 fronts:running meetings to support parents understanding of their children's educationthe fundraising events enables Oakwood to use funds to create additional resources within the school

To provide facilities and services for elderly, disabled and disadvantaged people

The promotion of increased biodiversity, its conservation and protection, throughout the borough of Barnsley. This will include survey work, the compilation of ecological data, records and reports, practical works and projects, the giving of advice, the publishing of plans and reports, and presentations to schools and other organisations to raise awareness of biodiversity issues.

Supporting music and other arts in the UK and associated education programmes
