KEYNSHAM CHARITIES OPERATES 4 ALMSHOUSES WHERE APPOINTED ALMSPEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO MEET STRICT CRITERIA AND SHALL HAVE RESIDED IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS AND SHALL BE OVER 60 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT.KEYNSHAM CHARITIES ALSO PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL GRANTS TO THOSE IDENTIFIED IN NEED WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS SET OUT IN THE ESTABLISHED SCHEME.

We take in, free of charge, mistreated or abandoned rabbits, including pets whose owners suffer ill health or financial difficulties or pass away. Animals in our care receive veterinary treatment, are vaccinated and neutered as art of our on-going programme and are then are found new permanent homes. We also offer free animal care advice and education to the general public.

OUR CLUB PROVIDES SOCIAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS 18 YEARS AND OVER WHO EITHER HAVE A LEARNING DISABILITY,ARE DISABLED,OR BOTH. ACTIVITIES ARE UNDERTAKEN OUT & ABOUT IN THE COMMUNITY AND ENABLE OUR MEMBERS TO TAKE PART IN A RANGE OF AGE APPROPRIATE EXPERIENCES HELPING THEM WITH THEIR LIFE SKILLS, RAISING THEIR SELF ESTEEM, BUILDING THEIR CONFIDENCE AND DEVELOPING THEIR FRIENDSHIPS.

The Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing tennis for the benefit of the public in Saltford and the surrounding area. The Club has three outdoor flood lit courts which non members are able to hire at low cost. The Club encourages all standards and all ages of players to become Club members at affordable prices.

Zenith Youth Theatre Company have been producing youth musical theatre in Bath since 1963. During this period Zenith has provided many opportunities for teenagers, from a range of backgrounds, to develop skills and confidence. We have an open access policy and to be a member of Zenith the young cast are not required to audition their acting or singing skills.

The advancement of health or saving of lives for the benefit of the general public by providing facilities and activities to enable and promote exercise by walking, cycling or running in a safe environment. The provision of facilities and activities for healthy recreation or other leisure time- occupation in the interests of social welfare to improve the condition of life of the general public .

THE SIRONA FOUNDATION EXISTS TO SUPPORT THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES. ITS PRIMARY FOCUS IS TO SUPPORT HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PROVIDERS IN OFFERING A BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR SERVICE USERS AND IMPROVE WELLBEING. THIS MAY INCLUDE COMMUNITY PROJECTS; VITAL EQUIPMENT AND OR STAFF DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES OUTSIDE THE LIMIT OF NORMAL FUNDING SOURCES.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events.

The charity is based on the trust set up by the will of the late J. N. Fear to build a hall for the use of local people. The hall is used by local organisations who provide the running costs on the basis of usage. Community organisations are entitled to reduced rates and help in running the hall. The maintenance fund is invested in the C.O.I. fund and makes a small contribution to the running cost

Maybe provides mental health support for members of the public who are experiencing mental health needs not met by statutory services and unable to access therapy due to sufficient financial means.
