The principal activities of Selwood Housing are the provision of social housing, the letting, management and maintenance of dwellings for people in housing need and the provision of support services in Wiltshire and Somerset. The purpose of Selwood Housing is to develop, manage and maintain quality affordable housing and provide support services for the benefit of people in housing need.

Residential Care & SupportCommunity Support

The Trust provides support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We offer Nursing and Residential Care in around 50 homes in the Bristol area, as well as Supported Living, Short Breaks, Day Care and Home Care. Services are tailored to meet individual needs and to support people to achieve their own goals.

The DBF undertakes three principle activities:i. It funds cost associated with the vast majority of Church of England clergy in the diocese,ii. It is responsible for the custody and management of the synod's fundsiii. It provides services to other councils and committees within the diocese, primarily PCCs and schools.

The Charity's primary objective is the provision of education. It runs an independent co-educational day and boarding school within the Evangelical Anglican tradition, catering for pupils aged 2 to 18 from the local area and also further afield, both from the UK and overseas.

The advancement of the Roman Catholic religion throughout the Diocese of Clifton. The provision of pastoral and charitiable services in Roman Catholic parishes and within local communities. The provisoin of education through catholic and ecumenical schools and programmes of adult formation.

Provision of Homelessness prevention advice, Housing and support for young people (16-25), families, and vulnerable adults. Community, Youth and families work including Early Years Provision, Health and Wellbeing facilities, information and computer technology, lettings of rooms and facilities to local groups and agencies. Training opportunities through social enterprise activities.

It provides residential treatment services, based in Gloucestershire, for people with substance dependencies, offering a wide programme of treatment, educational and training opportunities and resettlement. It also operates Women's Centres; Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol and Bridgwater and services in Wales and from HM Prison, to address the complex needs of women who are at high risk of offending.

Education

Developing Health and Independence is a charity that aims to assist people who are socially excluded as a result of drug or alcohol use, physical or mental ill health, poor housing, lack of employable skills or other means. DHI helps people to lead healthier more integrated lifestyles and helps to create safer more sustainable communities.

The relief of sickness and injury and the protection of human life by the provision and support of an air ambulance service for the benefit of the population of Dorset and Somerset.

Provide a wide range of activities and support for young people and the community. With a focus on housing and homelessness and youth work to enabling all to belong, contribute and thrive. Providing floating support, supported housing, youth clubs and venues for community groups to access.

Julian House provides a range of services to socially excluded people across the South West; particularly in the areas of homelessness, domestic abuse and community rehabilitation. We operate a range of supported housing projects, emergency hostel accommodation, advice services, assertive outreach support and a number of social enterprises. Not just changing lives. The FIA Foundation manages and supports an international programme of activities promoting road safety, environmental protection and sustainable mobility, as well as funding specialist motor sport safety research.

Freeways provides residential, supported living and day care services for adults with learning disabilities in Bristol, North Somerset, South Glouc and Bath & N East Somerset. Freeways provides a person centred range of activities tailored to meet individual needs. This can be residential accomodation to floating support, day care, in either the local community or at our Leigh Court Centre.

Provision of funds to sustain critical care operations for the Great Western Air Ambulance based in Bristol and covering Bristol, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, and providing secondary support for the county of Wiltshire.

Metanoia Institute provides education and training in psychological therapies and allied professions e.g. coaching psychology.Metanoia Institute provides counselling to the wider community through its counselling and psychotherapy service staffed by students.Metanoia Institute undertakes research in the psychological therapies.
