Provides a hospital radio and ward visiting service to those in hospital, residential homes and similar institutions, and for patients receiving community care.

Educational grants are given to students at school, college and university to assist with course books and equipment who are resident in the villages of Chew Magna, Stanton Drew, Stanton Prior, Stowey Sutton and Newton St Loe. Small donations are given to those who are both elderly and in need at Christmas time.

Promote the society in the vicinity of Bath and enhance the knowledge of the general public as well as membersof the society in all aspects of Natural History, by means of organising Field and Indoor meetings and publishing on topical subjects

To raise funds and invite and receive contributions from any person or persons whatsoever by way of subs and otherwise. To arrange and provide for, or join in arranging and providing for, the holding of exhibitions, meetings, lectures, classes, seminars and training courses.

Village hall management committee. The object of the charity is the provision of a village hall for the inhabitants of Hinton Charterhouse.

Education of women

44 members. Celebrated Old Sodbury WI 100th birthday. Supported local charities through speakers. Enjoyed social events and outings. Two members took up Denman College bursaries and several members attended courses. A successful year.

The Charity was originally set up to administer St Paul's Church Hall. The Hall was sold in 1971 and the proceeds invested. The Trustees now administer the quarterly income from the proceeds, donating it to activities connected with St Michael with St Paul's Church, Bath.

The charity provides a drop in health screening facility for farmers, their employees and the rural community at large

THE CHARITY RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH AUTISM WHO ATTEND THE MARGARET COATES UNIT. THE CHARITY ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILIES. THE MONEY RAISED PAYS FOR ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND RESOURSES UNABLE TO BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE LOCAL AUTHORITY BUDGET.

The Village Hall Management Committee works to maintain the Village Hall as a resource for the local community. The Hall is available for hire by local organisations, businesses and private individuals.
