The appeal to raise 750,000 to expand cancer services at Bedford is now complete and the current one is for a new MRI scanner costing over 1million.

Ride High has been set up to help disadvantaged and troubled children from Milton Keynes and the surrounding neighbourhood by giving them the opportunity to ride and look after horses. CAVS is a support and development agency for voluntary and community organisations providing advice, information, networking opportunities and training to promote and develop the effectiveness of the voluntary sector in the locality. We also look to identify the needs of the community with the aim of developing new initiatives and currently run a number of frontline services.

We run over 80 classes each week teaching techniques drawn from complementary approaches to health alongside a complementary therapy clinic, a large counselling service, a Hertfordshire-wide, award-winning wellbeing programme for older people with mobility problems or who are living with long-term conditions and a programme introducing Mindfulness into local schools.
