The Global Porphyria Advocacy Coalition (GPAC) operates as an umbrella organization for national porphyria patient advocacy organizations, representing all types of porphyria. We work to support all individuals impacted by porphyria and to safeguard their interests. The European Wound Management Association (EWMA) address clinical and scientific issues associated with wound management; represented by medical, nursing, scientific and pharmaceutical interests. Members work together for people with ataxia. We drive forward research, treatment & best practice; foster & improve contact between researchers/practitioners and people affected by ataxia; promote cooperation between international ataxia organisations, share best practice and raise awareness of ataxia among clinicians, scientists, policy makers and the general public.
