CEDF provides community language classes to children and young people. Its activities include raising awareness of the Panjabi culture and heritage, family learning and homework clubs from its learning centre in Hockley. CEDF works in partnership with local schools, universities and community organisations to publicise the language and make its projects accessible in other venues.

We provide care and a pastoral-style ministry and befriending services to elderly and frail persons. We have made regular visits to elderly persons in the area of the West Midlands known as the Black Country. The Cherith House provides a range of fellowship and hospitality functions.

Church - Place of worship and Social Activities

The advancement of the Christian faith worldwide in accordance with the doctrines set out in the Statement of Faith schedule of the Charity Trust Deed and the relief of poverty. The Charity also engages in youth and community development activities.

The Charity is involved in propagating the good news message of Jesus Christ. Teaching members and the general public about the scriptures.Organising workshops and lectures to improve relationships and community co existence with other faith based organisations within our community. Visiting the less privileged in our community to assist financially and physical demonstration of love.

A Sunday service is delivered by our Minister, a visiting minister or a lay leader, each Sunday at 11am. Various charitable activities are undertaken by members of our congregation.

We provide transport assisted day care for frail elderly on 4 days per week, and an informal evening setting for elders from the local Mirpuri, Pakistani and Kashmiri communities on 7 days per week.

Receive donations from over 91 Lions Clubs in South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, parts of Wiltshire and Somerset and distribute the funds for Local, National and International charitable purposes.

PROVIDE EMERGENCY RELIEF TO THE MOST AFFECTED PEOPLE IN ERITREA, ERITREAN REFUGEES IN THE SUDAN, ETHIOPIA AND OTHER NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES WE SETUP BASIC EDUCATION, SANITATION AND CONTRIBUTE TO EASE THE ORDEAL OF ORPHANS.

The main areas of charitable actvitiy are the provision of counseling, advice, support and the advancement of the Christian religion.

At ShowerBox, we give showers, underwear, toiletries and the sense of community to anyone in need, largely those facing homelessness.

To assist financially in the support of Smethwick Old Church and Vicarage.

To present annually a musical, pantomime and play involving adults and young people. We perform at Kinver High School, Kinver, South Staffs. Donations are made annually to charities proposed by the membership at annual general meetings.
