We distribute literature, audio, video tapes, DVD's, CD's and bi-monthly magazine at non-profitable basis to raise scientific awareness in Asian communities. We organise public functions led by mental & physical health professionals to raise awareness about mental & physical health issues. We take part in discussions on radio, TV and social media on issues like dowry system, female foetuscide etc.

THE EDUCATION OF WOMEN IN A SOCIAL GROUP INCLUDING VISITS TO THE THEATER AND OTHER PLACES OF INTEREST. A CHARITY IS CHOSEN EACH YEAR AND MONEY IS RAISED THROUGH A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THAT CHARITY.

CBA West Midlands is one of the regional groups of the Council for British Archaeology (CBA). It publishes West Midlands Archaeology annually, reporting on archaeological work in the region, organises Day Schools, including the yearly News from the Past, makes small grants for publication, research and training, responds to planning consultations and liaises with other amenity bodies.

ESOL classes, supplementary sch, elderly club, Tai-Chi club, interpreting & translating, advices and communicating for Vietnamese community members.

To promote, advance and integrate Bengali Hindu culture in the multicultural society. Preserving identity of origin and culture and working towatds community cohesion is the prime oblectives of Bangladesh Hindu Association (UK).

As a church, we run a homeless event twice a month. Every other Saturday, we go into Birmingham town and share food to individuals who are homeless. We also donate clothes to them. Furthermore, we are currently in the process of registering on mycare bham. This is an avenue for us to advertise our intention of every month, doing shopping free of charge for older people in the community.

The principal objects of the trust are to help advance the Christian faith worldwide, to relieve those in need in the United Kingdom and elsewhere and to support other charitable objects as the trustees shall determine. Donations are generally given to a local church fellowship, other local Christian work, Christian workers within the UK and for charitable training and resources.

BKLT was formed to raise awareness of Lupus and support research into the causes, treatment and cure of lupus. Since establishment it has made giant strides in raising awareness of lupus. Despite acute funding problems BKLT have continued to make donations towards research.The Trustees remain resolute in pursuit of the charity's aims and objectives. We hope to give an improved performance report.

TO FOSTER AND ENCOURAGE THE ROBED CHOIR, ST MARY'S SINGERS, THE MUSICIANS AND THE MUSIC GENERALLY AT ST MARY'S, MOSELEY

The charity assists with funds for local good causes and charities in Solihull and the West Midlands UK. Members of the Rotary Club of Solihull St Alphege decide on which beneficiaries to support on a monthly or annual basis.

Our purpose is to educate about the Great War 1914-1918, and to remember those of all sides who fought in the conflict. Branch meetings are held every month in Wolverhampton which are open to all members of the public. Details of location, date and speaker can be found on the branch web site.

Fund Raising activities

FUND RAISING FOR THE SCHOOL IN FORM OF REGULAR DISCOS, SUMMER CARNIVAL AND CHRISTMAS FAYRE.

Our group meets monthly and includes talks on various subjects, a discussion group, who consider up to date issues and a book group who read and discuss a wide variety of literature and authors. The guild organises outings to places of interest. The guild holds social events to raise money to help others.

Trinity Fellowship Trust is based in Handsworth, Birmingham. The Trust continues to support Living Waters Community Church (LWCC) in their outreach charity work in India (orphanage) & Uganda (primary schools). Recent Community based activities include a twice-weekly programme aimed at supporting black and minority ethnic elderly people and more recent work targeting high-risk vulnerable women.

Scouting activities for young people between 6 and 18 years of age.

We fundraise to benefit the pupils by advancing their education at St Mary's School. We engage in events annually such as films clubs, discos, summer and Christmas fairs, but last year we also had a strictly come dancing competition and a Christmas wreath making class . All of our funding is raised by our parent body.

Promotes the study of astronomy, by providing public observing sessions, lectures, advice, a journal, telescope making facilities, a library, demonstrations, lecturers, a meeting place and outings to places of astronomical interest. A modest annual membership fee is charged, the aim being to cover expenses and provide a concessionary rate for unemployed, students, and Senior Citizens.

Solihull Conservation Volunteers is a small but dedicated local practical charity, entirely run by volunteers in their spare time.
