THE CHARITY PROVIDES A PLACE OF WORSHIP TO HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE. FACILITIES ARE PROVIDED FOR ISLAMIC AND QURANIC STUDIES FOR ALL AGE GROUPS. THE TRUSTEES MANAGE THE CHARITY ON A VOLUNTEER BASIS AND DUTIES ARE ALLOCATED TO EACH ON A ROTA BASIS. THE MAIN CONGREGATION TAKES PLACE EVERY FRIDAY WITH THE ATTENDANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 400 WORSHIPERS

TO ASSIST IN THE RELIEVING OF SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AMONGST PERSONS ENDANGERED BY ACCIDENTS OR NATURAL HAZARDS PRINCIPALLY IN EAST LANCASHIRE AND PARTS OF GREATER MANCHESTER BUT WITHOUT GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITATION, AND TO SUPPORT ANY OTHER RESCUE ORGANISATION AND TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SECURE AND EFFICIENT SEARCH AND RESCUE OF ANY PERSONS SO ENDANGERED.

Providing sport and leisure activities to under privileged and disabled young people throughout the north west.

Performance to the public of orchestral and chamber concerts from the repertoire of classical and modern music, recording such music, co-operation with schools and colleges in the provisin of musical education.

The Charity's objects ("the objects") are:1) To advance the education of the inhabitants of North West of England.2) To provide facilities in the social welfare for recreation and leisure with the objectives of improving the condition of the life of inhabitants.

Current projects include financial inclusion, advocacy for disability related benefits, in some areas we have a form filling service for benefits. ICANN also provide advocacy support at medical assessments, benefit tribunals

To relieve sickness and to reserve the health of individuals in need of providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities and services. The relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually of people living in the third world by making grants of money or monies for providing of paying for items, services & facilities. -Delivery of a range of affordable bible training courses in NW, including day and evening ministry course and specific training courses to support evangelical churches in NW including Youth and Music. -The employment of a Director of Training. -Provision of an Annual conference. -Publication of a Magazine to encourage evangelical Christians throughout the region

Working with of individuals with learning disabilities, their families and carers by the provision of appropriate workshops, events and activities. This includes operation of a shop which as well as providing funds also is there to give work opportunities and experience to our beneficiaries

The promotion of community participation in rugby union. Provide facilities for sport within the community. Encourage and value volunteering to the delivery of rugby union. To work with other sporting organisations, schools, colleges etc to widen particiation in rugby union. To advance the education of children and young people as to the values of the sport.

Scallywags Pre-School offers pre-school education and care to local children aged 2-5 years.

The charity promotes any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community across Lancashire (including Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) and in particular focuses on delivering community action and volunteering projects. The charity helps the 7 members to work collabortively as an umbrella body improving effectiveness and co-ordination of support services to frontline VCFSE organisations.

The Trust is an endowed trust distributing the income in the Old Borough of Darwen in Lancashire.The Trust Deed restricts giving to the above area and to persons educated in the schools of Darwen. It can also benefit charitable organisations that benefit the people of Darwen but such grants are usually restricted to hospices and hospitals.

We aim to maintain Lancashire Boys and Girls Clubs as a direct delivery organisation through the continuance of a comprehensive programme of activities and projects for young people and provide practical support and advice to club staff, members and management committee trustees.
