The trust runs the Markazul Uloom, an independent education institute for Boys and Girls, which is registered with the Department of Education and Skills (DfES). It combines a college of Higher Islamic Education and a Secondary School. It offers secondary (GCSE) and further education (A levels) from 2014, as well as advanced Islamic Education and caters for the 12 to 23 age group.

The charity advances the religion of Islam, advances education and relieves financial hardship.

The advancement of education, including but not limited to Islamic education and studies, with a view to helping the public and in particular young people develop and meet their own needs in society. The promotion of religious harmony for the benefit of the public. To promote knowledge, mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different religious faiths.

DS enables People With Learning Disabilities to be active and visible citizens and provides opportunities that increase health and well-being. DS's dance leaders' with learning disabilities deliver inclusive dance workshops in local communities in the North West. DS creates meaningful activities that increase the life chances of PWLD and stimulate community cohesion through inclusive approaches.

TO TEACH THE RELIGION OF ISLAM

For the public benefit to advance the Islamic religion, to advance education inparticular but without limitation the education of women, and to providefacilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for the benefit, in particular butnot exclusively of women and girls resident in Blackburn in the interests of socialwelfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Having acquired the Cotton Exchange building, we have developed our Business Plan to transform it into a hub for the town. We have secured funding to employ an architect to take our plans as far as RIBA stage 3, which are to be submitted in the first quarter of 2023. We have planned a programme of community and heritage events which will run from March 2023 for 12 months.

The PCC is made up of 13 members and its role is to work with the vicar to promote the mission of the church in the parish, to care to people, to spread Christ's gospel of Good News and co-operating with other churches especially in our newly formed cluster of neighbouring churches. Our key aim is to find suitable homes for as many animals as possible, and provide proper care for those who have been mistreated or abandoned (we are not licensed to accept stray dogs!).The main activity for achieving our aim is the operation of an Animal Centre at Altham near Accrington.

Help Yateem is an international non-profit charity organisation designed to benefit orphans and orphanages around the world. We help communities lift themselves out of poverty. We ensure that our long term development work is sustainable so that recipients of aid can ?break free? from the cycle of poverty which blights the lives of successive generations.

Provides accomodation, food and clothing to homeless people over the age of 18. Provides help with respect to the social welfare, managing finances, and help with claiming benefits and generally improving job skills and moving towards self contained living.

To provide education and training to children of 11 to 16 years old (up to G.C.S.E), following the national curriculum and implementing good educational practices within the teachings of Islam which are open to all sections of the community

The charitable organisation provides religious and educational facilities as well as providing a focal point for the local community by allowing the use of it site for community activities and projects.

MUSLIM PLACE OF WORSHIP

Recruit and train parents from the community who then provide support to families who are: experiencing difficulties; that have at least one child under the age of seven.The support provided can be emotional and practical but it is provided in the families own home by a trained volunteer

We provide for social activities, lunch time meals for over 50's, coffee bar, a day centre for elderly clients, suffering for incapacity and dementia and learning difficulties which provides, bathing, social activities and friendship.

The main object of the charity is to preserve Islamic culture and traditions by establishing, promoting, encouraging and advancing the religious and education activities of Muslim children in the Lancashire area by the provision of schools and the teachings and propagation of the Holy Quran and Hadith and Sunnat and the principles and tenets of Islam together with provision of secular education.
