Use of Turton Tower for any or all of the following purposes:museum, library, reading room, meeting room or offices for the work of the Trustees, or a public park or recreation grounds, or such other public purposes as the Trustees shall from time to time determine

The primary object of the charity is to advance the religion and faith of Islam for the public benefit by the provision, maintenance, and management of a Musallah in accordance with the beliefs and practices of the, including the provision of education, lectures and raising awareness to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.

Provide support to new parents, and improve the experience of new local parents at diagnosis.To be a source of local and general information regarding Down's Syndrome and local provisionTo raise awareness and understanding of Down's Syndrome in the local community. Provide support to schools with children with Down's Syndrome amongst their pupils. Helping them best achieve integration.

The primary objective of the church is the advancement of the Christian religion. This objective is met through the weekly meetings held in Wesley Hall Methodist Church, Blackburn and through regular meetings in members' homes and at other local venues. The church also supports mission and relief activities in the UK and overseas.

We accept donations of preloved baby equipment, we then clean & maintain them, then through a referral system we donate to families in need/struggling. We raise funds to support us to be able to provide new toiletries, nappies, formula and maternity items , along side providing new mattresses with all cots, cotbeds, &moses baskets. We work with health professionals, education and social care

Kindness Counts UK provide anti bullying resources for our school's and the local communities within the Fylde Coast in reducing bullying, anti social behavior, mental health issues & young suicides. The resources we provide are for the well-being of our younger generations making a confident, kinder, generation. Our community hub will help CAMHS by providing counselling/sensory room&facilities

Human Medical Aid provides medical treatment to the neediest in the village of Tadkeshwar in Gujarat, India. HMA works with the Shifa hospital in Tadkeshwar and funds patient treatment and the purchase of new equipment and build and fit out of facilities.HMA raises donations from the UK diaspora of this community and the diaspora in Reunion, a French Department in the Indian Ocean.

The District Scout Council's purpose is to provide leadership, advice & support to Scout Groups in our area, and help promote the aims of The Scout AssociationThis involves promoting the development of Scouting; acting in matters relating to District finance and property; appointing leaders/helpers/instructors and ensuring suitability of applicants; supervising and assisting individual Groups

PROVISION OF PRAYER FACILITIES FOR THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN BLACKBURN AND PART TIME RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IS PROVIDED TO CHILDREN IN THE LOCAL AREA.

Carry out fundraising activities such as Spring and Christmas Fairs, Quiz Nights and Book Sales to support special purchases and projects for the Museum.Provide volunteer support for the Museums events.

The trust owns six almshouses at St Silas Road, Blackburn, where it provides accommodation for the elderly residents. The trust has more recently acquired one additional property which is a flat at Fairhope Court Blackburn which was transferred to it from another Charity pursuant to an order of the Charity Commission and a resident has now been appointed to occupy this flat.

Recreation, (childrens playground), Sports (Football, Cricket, Bowls, Tennis) & Leisure. 10.4 acres of greenspace open to the public. Biological Heritage Site (Rare grasses, wild flowers )

To introduce new participants, both young and old, from every section of the local community, to the sport of crown green bowling. This is to be done in a way that is supportive, inclusive, encouraging and most of all, FUN.

A season of 4 plays are presented in the Blackburn Empire Theatre Blackburn. All other activities take place in the club room adjacent to the theatre.

To act as a resource for young people by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, social, educational and other activities.
