TO ENABLE PERSONS IN BLACKPOOL, FYLDE & WYRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL AS ELSEWHERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS AND DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE

Headway Blackpool Wyre and Fylde aims to provide information, support and social activities for people suffering from acquired brain injury. We also aim to support carers, family and friends. Perhaps most importantly, we offer the chance to share experiences knowing that the group members understand some of the problems and difficulties that acquired brain injury brings.

THE CHARITY HAS BEEN FOUNDED TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF ARTS, HERITAGE AND CULTURE TO ALL THOSE WORKING OR VISITING THE NORTH WEST OF ENGLAND BY PROVIDING INFORMATION AND RAISING AWARENESS OF THE HERITAGE AND CULTURE OF THE REGION THROUGH EVENTS, ART INSTALLATIONS AND PERFORMANCE.

Sam's Place supports children and young adults who have physical, sensory or learning disabilities, life reducing conditions or complex needs.The charity provides opportunities for enterprise/learning to encourage employability skills; recreational and social facilities, and activities, to promote inclusion, peer networks and reduce isolation; information, advice, guidance for the whole family.

Pear Tree Holiday Club provides childcare and respite for children of all abilities aged 3-16. Approximately one third of children attending the Holiday Club have learning difficulties and disabilities.

CPCC will benefit the residents of Claremont and the surrounding neighbourhood offering education and skill development and also provide facilities for recreation and leisure time.CPCC is a community centre for all, supporting, promoting and strengthening the opportunities for people to be connected to their neighbours and community; improving the quality of life for local residents

Provide support to new parents, and improve the experience of new local parents at diagnosis.To be a source of local and general information regarding Down's Syndrome and local provisionTo raise awareness and understanding of Down's Syndrome in the local community. Provide support to schools with children with Down's Syndrome amongst their pupils. Helping them best achieve integration.

We accept donations of preloved baby equipment, we then clean & maintain them, then through a referral system we donate to families in need/struggling. We raise funds to support us to be able to provide new toiletries, nappies, formula and maternity items , along side providing new mattresses with all cots, cotbeds, &moses baskets. We work with health professionals, education and social care

Layton Community House is embedded in the community of Layton, Blackpool, welcoming residents, from all backgrounds and creating an inclusive and safe environment. Offering small scale services which respond to the unmet needs of socially marginalised groups particularly older people, also those who suffer from mental & physical ill-health.

Kindness Counts UK provide anti bullying resources for our school's and the local communities within the Fylde Coast in reducing bullying, anti social behavior, mental health issues & young suicides. The resources we provide are for the well-being of our younger generations making a confident, kinder, generation. Our community hub will help CAMHS by providing counselling/sensory room&facilities

We provide free advice and guidance on benefits, legal advice related to housing repossessions, mortgage arrears, homelessness, health disabilities related to housing, debt advice, education on housing law and community training and development. Free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities and support other voluntary sector organisations.

The activites of the Blackpool Ice Drome Charities Association is to organise annual fund raising events, our main event being the production of our annual Childrens Christmas Ice Show. All monies raised go to supporting local children's charities and associations,other worthwhile causes and to promote and develop ice skating in the community.

We are a long-established Church serving our local community. We share the gospel message in Blackpool and support both individual Christians in need and Christian organisations based in the UK with links to charity work overseas. Following the Covid situation we hold one service a week on Sunday mornings. All our activities are funded by freewill offerings from those who attend the Church.

Service North Blackpool, Bispham and Thornton-Cleveleys. Centre has two medium sized rooms and a large hall. The rooms by the local community with activities of chess, photography, various martial arts groups, slimming groups, toddlers groups, dance groups, charity groups, yoga groups, a community church. The Centre rents out its rooms; that is the only source of income.

BSYW is an interdenominational Christian charity founded in 1995. With the support of local churches and individual Christians the BSYW team go into local primary schools taking assemblies, RE classes, lunchtime and after school clubs. The team ethos is not to preach or convert but to inform and lead local children to a better understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith.

To introduce new participants, both young and old, from every section of the local community, to the sport of crown green bowling. This is to be done in a way that is supportive, inclusive, encouraging and most of all, FUN.

Swallowdale helps children and young people (under 25) who are in need and live in the Blackpool and Fylde area. This is through direct application or through other charities that work in a similar field.The aim is to supplement personal resources and make up for a deficit in state funding.Swallowdale prefers to assist named individuals or groups.

Our wraparound service supports the entire community. Our community hub serves hot meals, drinks and take-away food along with showers. We run a food bank, baby bank, clothing bank and pet food bank. All of our services are non-referral .We run regular sessions to support young families with literacy and cooking events, and have regular advisors supporting our clients varied needs.
