RECREATION AND LEARNING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Switch provides educational and recreational activities for children and young people in a range of community settings in the Blackburn with Darwen area. Our activities are largely delivered by trained community based volunteers and generally take place in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays.

To provide facilities for healthy recreation (particularly gardening and horticulture) and leisure-time pursuits in the interest of social welfare for the inhabitants of Fleetwood and surrounding areas who have need of such facilities by reason of their infirmity or disablement, youth, age, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Local fundraising activities and events to promote and raise awareness of mental wellbeing to the general publicand, in particular, young people aged between 11-16.

Multi Disability Swimming and Recreation Club, covering Blackpool Wyre and Fylde. Supports swimming and social activities for people with a wide range of disabilities. Usually around 100 - 130 members are involved in swimming and social activities and 53 volunteers subject to DBS checks. Regular swimming activities sessions at Moor Park Swimming Pool take place on Sunday mornings.

To advance the education of the public by promoting research in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, in the field of medicine, the results of such research being disseminated for the benefit of the public in the area of benefit. To assist or promote any charitable organisation or charitable purpose in the area of benefit.

Peer support, support group, activities.

To advance the education of people upto the age of 25 years in all aspects of watersports, primarily but not exclusively, sailing and associated activities in order to improve their conditions of life.The charity operates across the northwest of England mainly Lancashire including Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen.

To support the preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, upkeep and restoration of Saint Stephen on the Cliffs Parish Church and the parish centre and grounds.

Supporting people across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre BCFU specifically supports, represents and campaigns for the most vulnerable and those socially excluded in our community including homeless, travelers, offenders, long term unemployed, those facing redundancy and disabled.Services include Welfare Rights Advice, Education and Training, Form FIlling, Employment support,

(a) to advance the education of the public in the study of genealogy, heraldry and family history.(b) to locate, publish and make accessible relevant documents and records.(c) to promote the preservation of such documents and records, particularly by transcription of original sources(d) to operate its own information service and build up a library

NWTCA plays an integral role in bringing the Turkish-British community together in the North West of England.Turkish lessons for children and adults.Turkish Community Choir. Celebrating National/Cultural festivals. Promoting Turkish arts, culture and heritage. Participating in Manchester Day Celebration, Gallipoli Commemoration Service, Sing Turkish Events, Women's Club, Children's Festival.

Raise funds through local community events.Donate funds, to local Charities and causes in the Fylde area, based on requests from individuals, Charities, Communtiy Organistations. We may also support larger charities in Lancashire, North West, National or International appeals from other tables and tablers. This will form a minor portion of or donations.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, TO: PRESERVE AND RESTORE BLACKPOOL WINTER GARDENS, A GRADE II* LISTED BUILDING;  TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE PRESERVATION AND HISTORY OF BLACKPOOL WINTER GARDENS AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS

Community based choir. Support other charities to raise money /awareness and promote gospel and inspirational music to the Community

The objects of the charity is to benefit sick needy persons resident within Lancs, Gr. Manchr, S. Cumbria, Liverpl and Sefton with up to 20% of the net yearly income being available for the benefit of retired district nursing staff who have worked in the same area. There is no restriction on the overall amount to benefit the sick needy. Application of amounts is at the discretion of the trustees.

HERE4U provides social support to those affected by mental health. We run a variety of services dependent on peoples individual needs. Our main area we operate in is Blackpool, however we may be able to offer services in Lancashire.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB

To promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are lost/found or stolen and are in need of care and attention with a view to reuniting them with their owners where possible and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general

MATCH offers non-judgmental support and information to mothers apart from their children in a wide variety of circumstances. Our members include those who are sharing parenting and those who have little or no contact. We believe that children have a basic human right to continue to be part of a loving, nurturing family network for life; no matter how many times that family re-makes itself.
