The object of the charity is to provide practical assistance to disadvantaged young people.Previously the charity had acquired a property with a view to the property being used to meet the objectives.The property has been subsequently sold and the proceeds are currently invested, accruing interest.

We are working in the UK church planting, spreading the Christian message and training people across different churches. We are currently supporting care programmes in Zambia, and providing emergency aid in Nepal. We are running a health centre and schools in Uganda. We also run a children's home in Malawi. In addition we work in a number of nations supporting the work of Churches.

The Great Lever Welfare Youth Trust was formed on 28th November 2011 and is constituted under a trust deed dated 6th of August 2011 with a registered charity number 1144816. The objects of the charity is to advance the Religion of Islam, Education, relieve Poverty and Sickness, Social Welfare and other charitable purposes within the area of Great Lever and the neighbourhood.

Providing a befriending service to vulnerable elderly people within the area covered by the service. Also providing luncheon gatherings on a fortnightly basis and a coffee morning drop in on a weekly basis. This encourages service users to come out into the community and enriches their quality of life, by making new friends and sharing pastimes, knowledge, etc.
