Birtenshaw operates a special school, college, eight specialist children's homes, including a short break centre, and provides domiciliary care & therapies.The charity supports children, young people and young adults who have a moderate to severe learning disability, including Autistic Spectrum conditions and those with a significant physical disability/impairment including complex health needs.

Touring selected commissions to venues and arts festivals in the UK and the rest of the world. To provide supportive and specialist palliative care services,both within hospices and community settings, enabling individuals with a life limiting illness and their families and carers to maximise the quality of their lives.

The Salesians of Don Bosco UK work for young people through the provision of schools, youth chaplaincies, a residential youth retreat centre, parishes, youth centres and volunteering opportunities for young adults at home and abroad. We use our international links with Salesians working in the developing world to promote international solidarity in our schools, parishes and works.

Warrington Community Living seeks to support people with learning disabilities, older people and people experiencing mental health issues to lead their lives in a purposeful, healthy and enjoyable way as full and equal members of their local community. We do this through the provision of residential homes and supported living schemes as well as other forms of support in the community.

We provide housing & support services to enable people with a learning disability and or additional support needs including mental health and the deaf, to live in and manage their own accommodation in the local community. We put the needs of the person at the heart of all we do and provide services tailored to individuals' needs.

Care HA provide accommodation to individuals requiring support to live as independently as possible within the community. We partner with Care Providers and Local Authorities to ensure the accommodation is suitable, sustainable and of a high standard.

To work with disadvantaged and under privelaged children and young people, their families and communities, to improve their life chances.

Support people with Mental Health and Learning disabilities

To provide hospice care and support for children and young people with palliative care needs including support for the whole family. This includes; specialist respite including symptom management, hospice at home, end of life care and bereavement support after death. This care and support is provided in partnership with individual children's local health, social and education professionals.

A range of meaningful day opportunities, short term breaks, children's holiday clubs and activities for people of all ages and abilities on our Standish 84 acre farm and Leigh Sports Village.Further education for young people 16 - 25 years with SENDSupport for people to live in their own home by providing bespoke, person centred teams.Care Act Advocacy in Wigan We work across the NW.

The objects of the Charity are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education, particularly by the encouragement of the arts. This includes the arts of cinema, photography, painting and sculpture and including all other arts of a visual nature provided that all the objects of the Company shall be of a charitable nature.

In pursuit of the "relief of elderly people" "in and around the City of Manchester", the organisation aims not only to provide direct assistance through its own service structure, but also seeks to influence the nature, style, client group and location of services provided by others, particularly the statutory agencies with responsibilities for meeting the needs of Manchester's older people.

To provide the relief of sickness and the preservation of good health of young people who use legal and illegal drugs, by the provision of counselling, support and treatment services for such persons and their families. To advance research into the use of drugs and disseminate the results in the areas of Bury, Rochdale and East Lancashire.

TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE, EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY BY THE PRODUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL PLAYS AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS INCLUDING DRAMA, MIME, DANCE, SINGING AND MUSIC, AND TO FORMULATE, PREPARE AND ESTABLISH SCHEMES THEREFOR PROVIDED THAT ALL OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY SHALL BE OF A CHARITABLE NATURE.

Charitable works directed towards children and young people without families able to care for them, children and young people at risk, people with disabilities, the aged, the vulnerable and individuals, families, communities and groups who are in need.

We are Disability Positive. We provide services, opportunities and a voice to people living with disability and long-term health conditions. We have services to help people with everyday life and being part of their local community. We offer advice, help with practical tasks and advocate for people in lots of different situations and we share peoples' experiences to influence positive change.

Football Beyond Borders supports young people who are disengaged at school and passionate about football, in order to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood.

The Charity activities include improvements to the patient environment ,delivery of healthcare and a commitment to provide funding for research , training and education.Allocated expenditure in the year was used on the following categories ; 28% research , 16% patient related ,14% staff related and contributions to capital of 42% which were spent on equipment and refurbishments.
